Brilliant announcement, only 21 days AFTER you make the change. As I've mentioned elsewhere, you really should have let us know BEFORE this change went into effect, not almost a month afterward.

Thanks for delaying your announcement so that I lost money, and will continue to lose money, on ads that are already written. I made several hundred new ads over the holiday - had I known about this then I would have incorporated the new rates and not the old into all those ads. There are too many to change at this late date.

I mentioned in another post when I found out that auctiva had increased the Ins rates, that the Ins help index page is not correct. The first table reflects the new rates, but as you scroll down the page the information is wrong.

Here is the info listed on the help index page

" Auctiva Shipping Insurance Rates "

The Auctiva Shipping Insurance rates are comparable to USPS. Our rate is $1.30 per $100 value insured. We also offer international shipping insurance, which USPS does not offer.*

Rates and Seller Earning Potential for Auctiva Domestic and International Shipping Insurance

Auction's Closing Value - $0.01 - $100.00
You Collect - $1.30
You Pay Auctiva - $1.05
You Earn - $.25

It is still reflecting that ins is $1.30 for up to $100 in sales, and not $50.00

You may have this covered else where, but the USPS insurance rates increased on the 8th, is there going to be any increase to UPic's rate schedule to match the Postal service's???

Auctiva's Shipping Insurance rates will not be changing. The rates will be the same as when they were updated on Dec. 21, 2005.

Ohh, I had no idea that USPS ins went up, how much is it now for coverage of $1.00 to $50.00 ??

Insurance for 50.00 is now $1.35. I don't have the complete new schedule, but every service saw an increase, including delivery confirmation.
