We are getting alot of reports of missing descriptions when people update
their store categories. Ebay expanded the number of categories users can have
and this does not map to the old ones. If you try and view saved listings with a bad
category it will cause an error and the description does not display.

We are fixing the category problem, in the meantime users should NOT save
over the listing with the missing description or it really will be missing.

Bill, thanks for the info. I filed a support case about this and have heard back from James in the support group to the same effect as what you say. Please let us know when this is fixed as it puts a halt on editing all existing ads in any way. I'm virtually at a listing standstill right now while waiting for the fix.

Tomorrow, we will release the code fix (along with a bunch of other minor changes), we are testing everything tonight. It would not be responsible to release the new code without fully testing it and the other changes (that is why you won't see the fix until tomorrow).

So if this is impacting you, just understand we are fixing it and will release the stable fix tomorrow.
