We need 2 different Auctiva stores - selling 2 completely different catagories and don't want to mix the 2.

I understand we need 2 different Auctiva accounts, but my question is can we use the same ebay account for 2 different Auctiva accounts? Would rather not create a second ebay account.

IMO....not possible, or at least not currently accomodated with methodology or support. You'd need two eBay accounts.

Case Issue: Auctiva populates your Store from what's listed at eBay and not what you necessarily list from Auctiva. That's why you sometimes see delays between listing submission and when an item shows in the Auctiva Store. In fact the Store and Scrolling Gallery images are tagged with the Listing Number when they are pulled back from eBay and not a unique upload number done when you upload an image to your Auctiva account. This allows a listing directly done at eBay (or even with Turbolister) to eventually populate the item to the Store, even with no Scrolling Gallery or any other embedded tag. With two Stores, where does an item go, i.e. which Store shows the item?

I do know you get an error for attempting to pass Token for a new Auctiva account, when it's already associated to an existing eBay account in Auctiva's system. This suggests the one eBay ID to multiple Auctiva ID's is seen as an error and blocked. This is the error...

"An eBay account with your eBay username already exists, but belongs to a different user. Do you have multiple Auctiva accounts?"

That little "statement" in my sig seems to be finding it's way to some very interesting places on the Net (and off). It Googles too.
