Hello,

I like the store window but want to be able to use it on other sites (like my own). Is that possible?

Thanks

Stacey

Yep!
I emailed and asked just to make sure I wasn't breaking any agreement rules and regs.

You can see my scrolling gallery on my ME page, plus I've put it on my personal web page (and will be adding it to most of my pages, too). Others that I know of..such as wahm...has the other type gallery on her ME page. It looks great as she color coordinated the gallery..which isn't always available with other services.

I haven't put it on my selling site (suthrnjewl.com) because those sales are free of fee's and I don't want to divert sales to a service that charges.

DUH! <smile>
I want those sales solely without fee's to eBay. But it still went through my head to put the gallery on there..as another selling venue.

Peace,
Donna

Hi Donna,

Thanks for your reply. Another question, if I am not running any ebay auctions, but have inventory that I would like to display, is there a way to have the store capture my stuff even though it is not on ebay.

For example, I have a website and would like to use the store to highlight things on my website. These things are not on ebay. I am sure there is a way but how?

Thanks

Stacey

Stacey,

Good morning.

I don't know the answer to that. As Auctiva pulls pics and auctions from eBay...I don't know how they would go bout pulling from your off eBay items.

The customer service has always been prompt when answering my help queries via customer ticket. Try that and then let us know if it's possible.

Peace,
Donna

Support said the scrolling store can only be used on eBay, which sucks.

Thanks everyone

Hi Red Tag Diva,

There's nothing in our rules preventing sellers from using our Store Window on other sites so feel free to=) If we do add any provision against it, we'll make sure it's well announced.

Sorry to contradict an answer from support but we're clear on this issue now and it is allowed...so have fun.

Thanks for your response. What I am trying to do is use the store code, to show items I have for sale 'off ebay.'

I like the feature of the scrolling store and want to know how I can use it on my website to show my items, that are not ebay auction listed. I understand the way it is set up now, that it will only show ebay listed items no matter what website I install the code on. But how do you feature none ebay items in the scrolling store on an "off ebay" site.

Hope that is clearer.

Thanks

Stacey

Hi Stacy,

I don't know of a way to do this=(

The Auctiva store from which the Auctiva store window takes it's items is a collection of your active listings on eBay, so there's no way to use it to promote listings that aren't on eBay.

Hello, I am a new user who signed up for Auctiva for the exact same reason as Red Tag Diva. I saw the answer but was wondering if since it was posted in 2006 if maybe it had changed. Now can we use the scrolling gallery with items other than our Ebay listings?

I'm curios about that too.

can auctiva create it's own selling venue?

you call the scrollers "auctiva store" windows.

so why cant auctiva make our items available for purchase thorugh auctiva?

I for one would love to see that happen, my auctiva store would then be a real store not shade over the window of ebay.

Op.. I want to know if you are talking about linking your link for your auctiva store over onto another site.. Like plunder or waggle
and if so and it can be done without breaking rules please post how when you find out.
thanks
