Hi Everyone,
When I click on one of my active auctions, everything looks great except: on the left under store categories, it lists only 2 of my categories. How can I get my other store categories to show up on this page?
Thank You,
Laura

Hi Lauren,

The categories that are displayed within your Auctiva store are not intended to match your eBay store categories. By default, the categories listed in your Auctiva store will represent the primary eBay categories in which your items are listed. However, you can create custom categories for your Auctiva store by clicking the "Search Categories" link under the "Store" tab.

For listings to appear in a search for a given custom category, the keywords specified for that search must appear in the titles of your listings. If you set your Match Logic to “All Words”, the search results will only return listings with titles containing all of your keywords. If you set it to “Any Words”, the search results will return listings with titles containing any one of your keywords. Once you have created at least one custom search, the default store categories will be replaced with your custom ones.

Any additional questions or concerns? Please contact our customer support team using the appropriate link on our help page: http://www.auctiva.com/free-auction-software-help/help.aspx

What if I want my store categories to match? I set them up in eBay already. I have to set them up in auctiva, too? Why can't I just 'import'?

It will only list categories that you have items listed under.

Example: You have a category names "Womens Shoes" but if you don't have any womens shoes available that category won't show up.

Hope that makes sence.

I have tried this, and the default categories that my auctiva store came with are still there, and the new ones that I created are not. Any ideas?
