I have an ebay store with multiple catagories. How can I get my Auctiva listings to show up in the right catagory?? Right now they are all going into 'misc items'.

Have you updated your store categories from Ebay to Auctiva?? Once that is done, you can choose the correct store category in your listings.

To update, go to "My Account" then "Settings" tab and then click on "Ebay Settings". On that screen there will be a link to click on to update your store categories.

I have updated the eBay store category link in auctiva and still all my listings are not going in right categories in auctiva store only. They are all going in under all items instead of the right catagories they belong in.

Help please

OK I figured it out but have no idea how I did it lol All I can say is I kept messing around with the keywords and made sure my categories matched what my main categories I have on EBay.

Hi Gina, it is important to realise that at present that when you update your store categories on Auctiva from eBay that is only for listing editing/creation so that your listings are placed in the correct categories when they are uploaded to eBay.

It is not possible unfortunately to use your eBay store categories in your Auctiva store, ok you can define your own but I find it a poor alternative to using eBay's because Auctiva's store search works on listing title and not the store category parameter and is therefore very limiting and just does not work well for my listings.
