Auctiva has done a good job in building image hosting and front-end ebaY submission services, and has grown a large customer base. They have alot of competition, including those that are now offering eCommerce web hosting as a back-end seller store service. With ebaY raising fees for FVF and Store, and many looking for alternative solutions for eCommerce, does this present a good opportunity for Auctiva to build on that customer base with expanded services?
Please note, this is an independent survey. Auctiva did not ask or influence me in any way to open this Poll and had no advanced knowledge that I would do so. I've been using Auctiva since January of 2006, and have been surveying and tracking the offerings of the competition on a regular basis. I have no knowledge of any intention by Auctiva to offer an eCommerce service, nor have I asked them for one. I'm sure the possiblities have crossed their minds, so I'm hopeful a community-member-inspired survey like this can be of help in making any business decisions.
Thanks for taking the time to answer my independent survey.

Yes, I've seen the teaser postings by Auctiva folks too, but a strong business case will always help in any decision process. It's also information you could literally "take to the bank".
I'm honestly not trying to push Auctiva to do anything. I'm just interested in the huge customer base that Auctiva represents, and how the Community feels about eCommerce options, given recent events.
BTW....If the Auctiva folks want to make this a Sticky or move it to a more appropriate place in the Forum...please. I assume you folks have seen it and are far more curious than me about the Community's interests on this subject. I simply thought a Community originated poll on the subject was a good way to show support.
Giving back is my way of saying Thanks.

I'd definitely go for an Auctiva webstore with shopping trolley and all. I have set up my own external website, but it's proving a lot harder than I had imagined to drive traffic to it and get sales.
Wow, She is absolutely Georgeous. Will be hopefully adding a picture gallery to my site once its built so people can post their favorite pics of their cats & Cows of course

Lucas, you need to start by filling in the contact us details and returns etc, then do a blog and submit your site to google. Googlebase do a neat little thing now that links your store direct to them. have a quick search on google products.
I've closed my eBay store and would LOVE to have Auctiva provide a venue where all my unsold listings could be posted without copying and pasting to my current free site. C'mon Auctiva, help us out here!
Sure would be nice for someone to make a site like eBay that Seller's who left could go to. I have seen many of the other options, but none have the traffic like eBay does.
eBays traffic seems to be the "hook" that has many of us. I am still there working same as before, but I have had to be extra cautious about who I sell to and my list of blocked bidders has went from NONE to 10 in the last month. Pretty weird since I have been on eBay since 1998.
