Can anyone please tell me how I can remove "Sellathon? from my auctions? Lord knows my Ebays store is STILL Empty - I just dont know if Auctiva is really worth all of this pain - I've nto had to remove so much stuff and fix things since i bought my last new pc !

Hi Marsha946 not exactly sure why you want to remove the counter? But here goes. To get rid of it in future auctions just click the tab that says "Select a Counter " and set it at no counter. As for getting rid of it in auctions that are ongoing as far as I know the only way is to edit the auction and remove that specific HTML code which will look like this.

Why do you want to get rid of it? It is a useful tool.

I tried to look at some of your auctions but yor Auctiva name does not match your Ebay name so I am unsure as to what kind of issue you are having with the counter? Auctivas listing product is so much better than Ebay and the money you can save by using it is really nice. What sort of problems are giving you such a headache?

Hi - There is a drop down menu on the one-page-lister where you can select/de-select the Sellathon counter. This is located just under the blue 'select a template' link. There is also an account setting for the counter, just click the 'my account' tab.

There is a learning curve with any new program. Everyone has to go through the initial pain. Auctiva is great once you get over the hump and settle into a routine.
You've got a ton of free templates, as many big photos as you care to put on your listing for free, great staff and member assistance, just to name a few of the perks. There are MANY very happy users of Auctiva who are having no trouble at all and saving a LOT of money in the process. Give it time. It will be worth it.

I already use an Ebay counter, I just see no reason to have yet another counter up- at this rate I'll have more counters & links up than I have sued space from info on my auctions. Thats pretty sad. So I just want to get rid of the "excess"

also i now have a link up that says Clik here to get a free experian report- which I am getting to be pretty sure is an Auctiva thing- I've never seen on anything at my ebay store or on an ebay auction i've run.

So NOW if it IS an Auctiva thing - I've got to apologize to EBAY for the letter I sent them asking them to remove that crap since I wasn't gettting paid for it. *sigh*

I looked on my HMTL code and found the way to remove the Sellathon- thank you! Am so tired- got home from work tonight & been taking care of this - never thought to look in the HTML which shows you how tired I am - DUH :P

Now to find out if the link to Experian is from Ebay or Auctiva!

Hi Marsha946 I am pretty sure you will find that the Experian link is from Ebay. I used Auctiva before at my previous job and have never seen them add a link to someone else( Actually I believe it is against Ebay rules!) However Ebay tells you from the start they can add any links ETC... into your auction that they want to without your permission!Auctiva does not do this to you plus they give you so much more that Ebay wants to charge you out the WAZOO for.

Just my two cents/pence worth. From what I've gathered from other, vastly more experienced members than me, is that E-Bay's own counter is little more than a random number generator and should not be relied on for an accurate view of hits to your listing.

I prefer Sellathon because it is part of the Auctiva package which I'm a little fanboy of.

There is also Andale for a free counter if you really don't like the Sellathon or E-Bay one.

sellathon rocks,much more acurate than the e bay counter.Plus you don`t have to keep refreshing the sellathon one.
