I have read the boards on moving the store window to the bottom of my listing. I think I know how to do it but how much of the HTML do I copy and paste when I get to store-store window-HTML?? I want to put in in my profile. Also, do I have to change my store to full view??

Thanks for any help
Sandy

Hi Sandy,

You'll want to paste the entire store window html into the description editor in your details profile. Since the store window code is html, you'll want to click the "Switch to text mode" link above the editor before pasting it inm.

Thank you Mike, it worked perfect. I was not switching to the text mode, that was my problem. You do a great job at helping us out and quick to respond! Sandy

No, this is only if you'd prefer the Store Window in a different area of your listing (it defaults at the top).

I need some help here too. I can figure out how to copy and paste the html into the description so that the store window is at the bottom........but,
if I do that, will the other store window still automatically pop up at the top of my listings?

I think if you manually enter the code then you need to go to Store > Store Window and disable the store window. As I understand it, that will disable the automatic insertion of the store window at the top (for any new listings you post) but it'll still work when you add the code manually.

With our next site release (around June 10th), we will have a new store window setting so you can specify top or bottom of your auction description.

I am not quite sure about how to have the scrolling store window moved to the bottom of my listing. Do I copy and paste all the html to the bottom of my description? Let me know what is the best way. Thanks.

3 ways to do it.

can copy and paste the html code for store window into description box

can edit a template (or create a new one) and insert html code for store window where you want it in template

can edit a template (or create a new one) and put the auctiva tag [STORE_WINDOW] (including square brackets) in your template where you want it.
