Dang, they should really send me a memo when they start making decisions for me like that. There are no such plans. However you can read all my past posts on the subject over the past 2-3 years for more info.

I didn't think anything was changing at Auctiva. The sales guy was extremely insistent!

He even offered 2 free years of Vendio service!

I guess they are desperate...

Taz, I did read that link as it was progressing. Glad it's straightened out now! Yeah, this is the 3rd time in as many years I got a phone call from ebay..(was on my answering machine, I was out). The guy had a heavy accent & it was hard to understand most of it...the phone # to callback wasn't even toll free..Lotta nerve Big Grin

Wow that is crazy. Sounds as though you had someone buy from you and then track you down for your phone number! I would report that one to eBay if I was you.

I also have gotten a couple of calls from eBay within the last 6 months. Which is weird for a large corporation like that.

Both times, they were letting me know that they had specials going on. Which I already knew since I read eBay news all the time.

I think eBay is getting desperate for customers for what I'm reading on eBay forums.

They also have emailed me surveys to take and the last time they did that, I told them that if they would lower their fees and have the stores searchable, then they would get more customers.

I had to close my eBay store because I was hardly getting any sales. As soon as I went back to auctions and Buy it Now, my sales took off again. What I am reading on the eBay forum is that the eBay stores are not as searchable as the other options such as Buy it Now and auctions. I guess they feel that the store fees are not that high so they are not going to promote the store.

Not exactly the same topic, but if you make sure the item condition (new/used) is specified, at least all your items with a BIN price (including store items) will also appear on Ebay Express also. I get a lot of traffic from that.

Assuming you are approved for selling on eBay Express, I think you need to sign up to thier t&c's first.
