She must mean her IP address, but what does that have to do with changing service providers? Messages are delivered to Email addresses. You shouldn't have to worry about your IP changing. In fact, your IP address could change daily with some providers (especially dial-up where you got a new address every time you logged on).
I think you need to describe your problem a little better.
Hi JeffS previous posts do not indicate that the actual IP address is meant could mean Internet Provider or ISP to others or even a mix up with e-mail address.
This is why I query, what is the question before trying to answer as it doesn't stack up at present.
Bit more detail to include what you mean by IP, what address you are asking about, e-mail ?

I assume your OLD and NEW service providers use a completely different email address. In that case, it sounds as if you need to update your Auctiva settings to direct the messages to your NEW email address.
You probably need to update your email address at many other places too, such as eBay, Paypal, etc...
I've got it now. I finally got a modem installed so I don't have to deal with dial up service. I'm trying to learn how comcast does things. It's difficult. They brought some of my addresses over. Most are still emailing to the old dial up address.I had a lot of stuff stored in my old account with the internet provider.

That's your responsibility to change all your contact info at places you used with your old address. It's a chore, and you'll forget some, but eventually you'll get it done.
