Dear eBud users,

We've recently made some upgrades to the program to ensure uninterrupted service through eBay's transition to the new XML API format. Before we release the new version we'd like to hear what you think of it. If you're interested, please download the Beta 2.0 preview from the link below. You'll want to make a backup copy of your eBud.exe in case you'd like to stop using the Beta preview and go back to the version you are currently using.
http://38.102.38.132/eBudBeta2.0/eBud.exe

Once downloaded, close eBud if it is running, copy this file to your "C:\Program files\Auctiva\eBud" folder, or to the directory where you have eBud installed.

We look forward to your input! As always, if you have questions about how to obtain the Beta 2.0 preview, or general questions about the Beta 2.0 preview we'll be happy to answer them.

Best Regards,

Joe

Hi,

I grabbed the latest beta (2.2???) and am trying to use it.

Every time the auctions refresh, the program stalls with a notice of a newer version. Manual updates work just fine. Check for updates returns a "no new updates" message. Where do I get the latest version.

The only other problem I encountered so far is posting a non-paying bidder notice thru the dispute console did not work. I had to post it directly thru eBay.

PS: thanks for keeping eBud up to date.

Hi. I have been using the Beta 2.21 for a couple of days. Seems to work ok for me, except it did not want to get eBay fees. I used the 3.35s version fees and they applied fine.

Hi,

Sorry about that! We had a little hiccup getting the new build out there. Everything should be ok now.

I don't see any errors logged by your account. What happens when you try to get fees? Is there any error message that eBud is giving you?

Hi,

You might want to try a short period to retrieve fees for. It's a very intensive process to fetch a lot of fees at one time so this will help.

Regards,

Joe
