Ok...I'm intensely curious if Miles or Tom can replicate this.
Last week I had the same problem and reinstalling hasn't helped though I will try it again.
take 5 closed auctions that need emails sent to them. Fill out the shipping and shipper and insurance and status and tax info.
Select two other auctions won by the same person.
Send them the combined end of auction notice.
Now...go to the email que, select that combined email, make a few changes, hit the send (I have it configured for MAPI so I get ANOTHER copy of the mail as presented by outlook express.
Now, make one change in THAT email and hit send.
You will get an error message that will shut down ebud.
Now go back and VOILA!!! ALL THE DATA YOU ENTERED, NAMES, ADDRESSES, SHIPPING INFO, ETC. on all those other auctions...WILL BE GONE!
Pleeeeese....try this and let me know if it works for you. If not...how the heck to I fix this???

This won't fix the problem, but I always save my data before doing emails.
That way if it does boot me out (which was a problem some months ago with version 2.x), I know where I am and don't have to re-enter info.
Good Luck

Greybiscuit: By chance do you have a virus program that blocks scripts?

I'll check pestycat I'm pretty sure all my settings on my virus stuff are correct but I'll double check that. I know script blocking settings affected the old ebud and eposter so I had those turned off but maybe something got turned on again in an update. Oh...thank you so much for your instructions on the reinstall too. I didn't post a thank you there but I cut and pasted those instructions to a notepad and used them through out to get through it. I really appreciate the time you took to write that out.

When I was having trouble with run time errors the other day, the same thing (almost) happen to me.
Whenever I got booted out the program all the info I had entered was gone when I booted it back up.
