Well, I just updated to 3.41, and if I delete a record, when it's recreated the email address is there. However, if you select a record and do and "update" nothing happens. Deleting a record deletes all the info that might already be recorded on it, like the buyers address I may have already added, status, etc.
Why won't Update fill in the missing fields? In fact, Update doesn't even look like it's going out and fetching the auction data. It really looks like it's just sits there and a few seconds later clears the highlight.
JeffS, your observation here is correct. You do need to delete ended items that are missing the buyer's email address and then refresh to get the email addresses. Also please be aware that due to the 14 day retriction that eBay puts on viewing buyer email addresses, if re-adding sales older than 14 days the email address won't show.
About the way eBud refreshes...once an item has ended eBud doesn't bother updating it. This is because the details aren't subject to change after an item ends. Though in cases like this it often means deleting rows to get things back in order.
Ijust updated and then refreashed but I am not getting hte email addresses for running bids like we used to. Is this the new way now or is it working for others
I updated recently to 3.41, and now when I refreshed this morning to see my just closed auctions, NO final bid amount showed up. In otherword, "00.00" showed up as the final closing bid amount. This has never happened before. When will this be fixed? I had to go to each item and manually put in the final bid amount into my program. Thank you Regards Tere Ryder French Door Librairie
I would like to know why no-one is responding to the last 3 posts put on here. I am trying to run a business and it is not easy when you have paid for a program that won't update, or even work efficiently.
This is NOT fully fixed. It picks up the email address when the auction ENDS only. It DOES NOT pick up the email address while the item is active and receives bids while still running. It does however pick up the feedback number of the current bidder, it just does not pick up the email address of the current bidder.
Please post a manual way of updating Ebud to 3.41 as the automatic updating does not work. I see where others have requested this but I cannot find were you have posted it. Nothing is working right now on Ebud.

After filing a support request about Email addresses not showing up during the auction, it was pointed out to me by Auctiva that these addresses are no longer available while an auction is in progress. Thanks eBay, you greedy SOBs. Yes, you can Email a potential buyer while an auction is in progress, but you never see his Email address. Look at any listing you have running, and try to find the buyer's email. You can't. You won't see an email address until the auction ends. So get used to it. No more email addresses until the auction is over.
