I have read in the FAQ where Outlook 2000 does not work with ebud. I have tried it with Outlook 2003 and have gotten it to work with the following work a round.
First make sure your mail setting are set to MAPI with the "Show Mail Compose Window" checkbox checked.
Go through your normal procedure of sending an email. When Outlook's 2003 email compose window pops up, do the following:
Rightclick on the email address that you are sending to. In the popup box Leftclick on Properties. A small window will be displayed, at the end of the "Email Type" line there is a box labled "Internet Type". Leftclick on it to change it to "Custom Type". The box in the middle that held the email address wil change to SMTP. Leftclick on "OK"
At this point you can now send the email.
Auctiva Support Can you look into changing the MAPI code that you use, so that the email type is always SMTP? It would make life a little easier.
I remember doing this ages ago and had completly forgoten how to make it work.
I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE AGAIN. I can't understand why they don't explain this to us after paying and posting regarding this issue.
Thank you again for this. By the way if you know how to export and import to a new computer all the info in Ebud please let me know I have done several tries and non work.
