When I send combined emails I get in the subject line of the email the description of the last email that was not combined. This shows up on all the combined emails. How do I correct this.

I haven't heard of that before. Do you think it was still highlighted from a previous email when you sent the combined email. Only thing I can think of is do an "Update" on the combined auctions and try resending them again and see what happens.

This doesn't happen for me, when I try to reproduce this by putting in the subject of combined emails it replaces it with nothing.
What I would suggest doing in your situation is removing the Tag from the subject line of the combined formletter. If this is for the formletter "Congrats Sent" Then the formletter you need to edit is "Combined Congrats Sent"
You can see what formletters are used when combining other types of formletters from "Edit->Combined Formletter Settings"
The ones other than "Congrats Sent" do not have specialized emails for combined auctions. You can create them yourself.
For example, if you wanted to make a specialized formletter for "Item Shipped", I would do these steps.
Open up "Tools->Formletter Manager" and go to "File->Edit existing..." and select "Item Shipped" Then I would go to "File->Save current formletter as..." And name the new formletter "Combined Item Shipped"
Then edit the thing how you would like it to look (such as replacing with what you want) Then when you have it how you want it, don't forget to save it with "Files->save current formletter"
Then associate it with "Item Shipped" in "Edit->Combined Formletter Settings"
