When I updated I lost the custom status that I had made in the status bar/ They remain in the spreadsheet so I can not create them again. I used these to sort such as I would work auctions through the day then mark status print. when I was ready to print I could go to the status bar and search Print and all of those auctions would come to the top. Now it is gone frome the status bar but remains a selection in the drop down status of the item thanks tilem

My custom status list is also missing since updating to 3.08a. I found the file status.lst that contains my custom items but it is not being used. This was my most valuable sorting tool HELP!

I posted the same question earlier and, although folks are responding and trying to tell me how to fix it, they think I'm refering to adding my custom form letter names to the status list in the column. NO! I want to be able to do exactly what you all want- I want to add my custom form names to the SORT LIST at the top left side of the grid. I, too, find it to be the most useful tool for organizing my auctions. Yes, we can select "Search", then "By Current Status", then pick it off the list, but I want to be able to go to that drop-down list do it with one simple click (like we used to be able to do!)

Tilem- Depending on how computer literate you are (stop reading this if the answer is "not too"), you can check to see if your custom-made status names are in the eBud program's status list- if not, you can manually add the names. Here's what to do- go to Windows "Start" button and select "Find", then "Files or Folders". In the pop-up window that says "Named", type in "status.lst" (don't type in the quotes but do type in the period, and it's an L, not the number one). When the computer finds the status.lst file, double-click on it and it should open up (if not, open with any text editor program, like Windows Notepad). Look down the list at the different Status Names. If something is missing, add it to the list. that should get you to the point where you can at least select it off the "Search", "By Current Status" list.

Be careful. you may have multiple status.lst files. I found mine in the native c:\ directory not in the Auctiva\ebud\ folder. Works fine now.
