I am listing several items today (Wed., 3/8). As DST starts this weekend and the auctions will end AFTER DST is in effect, at what point should I check the box "Add 60 minutes for DST" so that my auctions close at the desired time?
You will need to check the "DST" box soon AFTER the change to daylight savings time. However, we are in the process of developing a method to make the shift to daylight saving time automatic so, if we are able to release that change before the shift, it will not be necessary for users to check/uncheck that box.
Thanks Mike...how will you notify Auctiva users that this DST automatic change is up and running...if you are able to get it ready by this Sunday? Thanks for a great service!
In order for your Auctiva account to automatically adjust for daylight savings time, you must click the "Account Settings" link under the "My Account" tab, and ensure that the "Adjust for Daylight Savings Time" box is checked. After that, whenever there are time changes in the future, the times reflected in your Auctiva account will automatically be adjusted.
I live in the UK. I was annoyed tonight when my 15 scheduled listings did not appear at the times set (between 9 and 10pm GMT). It seems they appeared an hour later I assume due to the change in times in the US. What do we need to do in the UK I have had the box checked for a long time and assumed it adjusted automatic as stated. Dave
