I know that eBay UK no longer has the store inventory format but they are still keeping stores.

It appears now that auctiva have removed the drop down menu for choosing which store category your item will be listed under for UK listings. Why is this as I would still like my "auction" and "buy it now" listings to go into the correct categories in my eBay store?

With no eBay store category given to my currently scheduled auctions, where will they be placed in my store? Under "other"?

Also since the changes, when trying to schedule UK auctions for relist it goes to an error page.

Auctiva, please could you look into both of the above issues.

Thanks.

I have asked the same question and auctiva seem to think that as there are no more stores! their words that this is no longer necessary, well I am not happy
i sell loads of diffeerent size, sex and age items and dont do multiple item listings so need categories in my shop for people to find specific items, so now if there are no more sub categories they will not be buying as they wont be able to find them
NOT A HAPPY SELLER

I have just spoken to ebay customer support and they have told me that the categories inside our shops are staying so why has auctiva removed them????????????
Any response from Auctiva would be appreciated

I really hope that this is just an oversight/minor glitch. Ebay UK shops haven't gone, only the listing - we still need to put the items into the store categories whilst writing the description or they will have to be edited when live on ebay.

Please can it be fixed ASAP?

Just had a reply from Auctiva and they really think our stores have gone!

It maybe confusing BUT we will still have stores with categories, it's just that from today our listing in those shops will be in the format of AUCTION or FIXED, but the items will still show in the shop categories we have created and we need the drop down categories box on the Auctiva templates.

PLEASE check with ebay UK and you will see that
shop owners till have stores, it's only the 'store listing' that has gone - not the whole store!

Yup, in a reply to myself they do believe they've gone.

I've sent them another message stating availabilty of shop categoriessince updating.

Ebay listing page - YES
Turbo Lister - YES
Auctiva - NO

They've goofed this up bigtime. They'll have to correct this soon otherwise they'll lose ALL listers with shops.

Well I'm a very new Auctiva user and just getting the hang of it but I'll be going back to Turbo Lister until this is sorted as Auctiva as it stands is no good to me or any other shop seller.

its not the scheduled listings I'm afraid.....
it is affecting all listings since late yesterday and from today, no store categories at all, so the ones you have scheduled before hand are all fine, but new listings and ones from now have no choice for categories

Auctiva has updated our site in preparation for eBay's changes to UK Shops tomorrow (25 September). UK users will notice the Store format is no longer available and the new, extended durations (30 day and Good 'Til Canceled) have been added to the Fixed Price format. eBay will roll out full support for these changes tomorrow. For complete information on eBay's changes, please visit the eBay UK site . Happy listing!

YES HAPPY LISTING WITH ANOTHER SITE ONE WITH STORE CATEGORIES NOT SHOPS AUCTIVIA OUR PERSONALISED STORE CATEGORIES WHICH WE ALL HAVE IN OUR OWN SHOPS SO BUYERS CAN FIND SPECIFIC ITEMS WITHOUT LOOKING THROUGH EVERY SINGEL LISTING!!

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us regarding this matter. The reason the "shop" (or shop category) options is no longer available on Auctiva's eBay UK lister page is because eBay was supposed to eliminate the "shop" listing format today. However, it has recently been brought to our attention that they have pushed back the targeted date to make this change to tomorrow.

It is no longer possible to list items in this format through Auctiva and it will not be possible to list these types of listings through eBay shortly. However, you can now post fixed price listings with new durations of "30 days" or "Good till Canceled".

If you have any additional questions or concerns pertaining to your Auctiva account, please feel free to let me know, and I’ll be happy to continue assisting you

More of the same I fear

I started a thread about this on Ebay UK boards a number of hours ago with, as yet, no replies from anyone. Hoping some others will e-mail Auctiva about it so that it regiters with them that there IS a problem.

Hi
I have just listed my first thing after the changes today (am a UK seller) and have also noticed the store categories have gone which is annoying.

But also was a bit confused and wondering if anybody could clarify things for me. I have kept my store with ebay - all my old 30 day listings still show up at the bottom of the search pages with the other ebay stores but the new listing I did this morning on auctiva as a 30day has gone to the bottom of the auction section of the ebay search page. Why are they showing up in two different places? Im sure im just being dim but any advice welcomed.

Hi Community,

Thanks for helping to bring this issue to our attention. The eBay UK shop category selection interface was removed from the Auctiva lister page yesterday because we were under the impression that ship categories were going to be eliminated along with the elimination of the "shop" listing format on the eBay UK website.

We have since become aware that show categories are still going to be supported and our technical team is working on restoring this functionality as soon as possible - most likely some time today.

I will post further updates on this issue to this thread as additional information becomes available. Thanks for understanding!

-Mike
