Every listing I do states insurance is required even if I change it to optional. The preview looks fine, but when posted it defaults to insurance required. I've never had this problem before. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks.
Me too! Most of my listings posted with Insurance Required. Now I am working on some new listings. I set them to Insurance Optional then I save them and schedule them. When I go to Scheduled listings and look at it, it is back to Insurance Required! It seems to ignore my Insurance choice. I have no idea what to do!
Yes, it does appear to be a problem. I wonder how many people just haven't noticed it. I would imagine quite a few. I didn't for quite a while. Just edited and scheduled another - same story. Hope it gets fixed soon!
I discovered the condition under which it appears: I make a new listing and make sure Insurance is Optional. Then I schedule the listing. Then I go edit the Scheduled listing and change 1 word in the description, and save it, and voila... it has been saved as Insurance Required. So I edit the Scheduled listing again and change Insurance to Optional, then save it, and still it is saved as Insurance Required. The only way to avoid the situation right now is to make a brand new listing, make insurance optional, and once it is scheduled, never change it. That is what I have noticed in the last week.
Thank you for responding to the problem. Right now I simply go to ebay after posting and revise the listing for optional insurance. One extra step but it does the trick for now. I hope you all fix it soon. I imagine there are those who haven't noticed this problem and wonder why their .99 item isn't selling. Probably because it's listed as 'insurance required" on a low priced item. Thanks again.
We appreciate all of your help in bringing this matter to our attention. Our engineering deparment is currently investigating this issue and we will have it resolved as soon as possible. While I do not currently have a good idea when it will be resolved, I will certainly post again to this thread when I have additional information on this issue to share.

I'm getting a message that says because I ticked the "flat rate" box I must have insurance or my listing won't post. I have tried over and over again--once my listing made it past the error check but now it's back to getting an error message. This is frustrating. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Thanks!
Do you have any Insurance rules set in your eBay account Site Preferences (at eBay) including those for Flat Rate?
Also, if you do have any shipping, promotion, or insurance rules set at ebay, did you sync them back to Auctiva using that feature in the Auctiva ebay account settings?
