Thanks,

I'm having the same problem. I am on eBay Australia and I've found a drop shipper in the USA but they'll only let me drop ship into USA. So I completed my Auctiva listing on eBay United States and when I try to post I get the same error as you.
I've asked Auctiva help as well as eBay and I can't get a resolution to my problem.

I got the same message last Thurs or Friday and Auctiva said that because I had a "sell it now auction" it wasn't long enough. I changed from 3 days to 5 days and it loaded up to eBay fine after that.

Hello,

I'm getting the "API" error, too. Mine says "string value for "main color" is too long. Maximum length is "20".
Can anyone please tell me what this means?

Thanks

I have found that certain key words or phrases in an auction listing can trigger a policy violation. I got it when suggesting buyers could used Western Union Money Orders for payment. The words "Western Union" were a NO NO. "Google" might trigger it too.

Anyway, ebay is screening for certain things that trigger the error.

That error is triggered when you use the "Item Specifics" section. some text boxes are limited to 15 others to 20 characters.

Hi Crimsonsteel,

I just replied to support case # 311567 with the error message eBay has returned in response to your most recent posting attempts.

If you review my response by clicking the "Check the status of an ongoing support case" link at the bottom of the Auctiva help page, and then clicking the appropriate case number, you should be able to determine what needs to be done to correct this problem.
