Thanks for contributing to our forum. The “Error Check” tool on our site is basically designed to make sure that all the required fields for each listing have been filled in and catch a couple other common errors, but we will not generally be able to tell you whether a listing violates any eBay listing policies before the listing has actually been sent to eBay.

In the event a listing you attempt to post through Auctiva is rejected by eBay, the API error message that is returned by eBay will typically explain exactly why the listing failed to post and at least suggest what needs to be done to correct the issue, but this particular one is associated with a technical error on our side is is admittedly not so clear.

As was explained in response to the support case you filed on this topic, this error is associated with an issue that arose when we imported the new “FedEx SmartPost” shipping option into our system and we will be correcting that issue with a future update to our site.

In most cases, users who have encountered this error message have been able to work around the issue by removing the “FedEx SmartPost” option, but I realize a couple more adjustments were required with one of your listings that was impacted.
