How come when copying, pasting or cutting in the description box I need to do it the Control "letter" way? Why won't it allow me to highlight and right click to move? It seems to work elsewhere on Auctiva, and has always worked on Ebay. Is there a setting that needs to be changed? Thanks

It's because of Firefox's strict security settings. See this page on how to enable it:

I type and edit EVERYTHING in Word...highlights, font, spacing, paragraph borders, etc. and then copy and paste to listing via "Control V, Paste." BE SURE to uncheck the box "Disregard ???? (can't remember exactly what it says) BEFORE you do the "Control V, Paste" and it will paste your text EXACTLY as it was entered in your WORD document. I've been doing this for a long time and have never found an issue with it.

I rarely use right-click, paste. I always use Ctrl-V. However, many folks aren't familiar with the Ctrl-V shortcut and try to use the Right-click, paste method.

I find it much quicker to right click for copy, cut, paste functions.

Kbalona, thanks for the info, but I'm not a computer programmer. That info is WAY over my head. I'm not a computer noob, but that is just a little confusing to me. And anyway, like I said it doesn't happen on any other sites, just in the Auctiva description box. The right click even works for checkout instructions at the bottom and certainly for ebay editor.
