I'm pleased to announce that we recently launched the Auctiva Commerce Blog. We'll be using this as another channel to distribute information about the product, solicit feedback, provide Auctiva Commerce education and more. One of the current posts that may be of particular interest is the Google Integration Boot Camp Series. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Thank you - Chris
Last few items that I've bought from Auctiva Commerce Sellers:
"Leave us a comment below and tell us what you’d like to see."
Chris, I can see where this will be very helpful for many of us. My comment (couldn't see where to leave one) would be that I (and several others here) have had to manually upload Google feed. Not a huge deal, but since the feature is supposed to work from my dashboard, it would be helpful if it did. Thanks!
Click on "no comments" in each topic and it'll open a page where you can post them.
Personally I don't see the point of this. It's yet another place to go for info, when the boards already exist for it. Why spend time creating/maintaining another channel? Awhile ago, during one of the weekend site crashes, someone noted that they saw a "twit" on Twitter that AC was aware of it, but as I recall Auctiva didn't comment on the boards as well - the 1st place people go for answers. So it seems they hafta subscribe to all sorts of info networks to prevent missing something when everyone's time is already stretched thin - including AC's.

Me neither and besides that, I'm not so sure I even know what a "twit" or "tweets" is!

Same applies to the boards if you choose to be notified when posts are made to topics of interest. The point is why the boards - with similar topics already started by Auctiva - aren't enough. Their audience is already here, so why add another level of confusion to an already difficult transition period?! Second point is why days, if not weeks in some cases, go by without official response to repeated questions on a forum they created to address them?
Like many others I may get in a "twitter" when things defy comprehension, but even tho I called a tweet a twit, maybe there was a subconscious reason for it. The entertainment value of all this may alone be worth $2.95, but I'm hoping it'll still come for free, in tick, tick, 6 days.

Hi BB4U. I am on twitter and try to post a few times a day (they allow 140 letters on a post). The Tweet goes out to the Twitter Universe.....It is Awesome. People that relate to you, follow you by clicking on the "follow" just below your message. It costs nothing to join. I monitor my followers, as I want only positive followers and there are some negative ones out there. You just "click" to block them if you see on your followers, a name that is not desirable. You can find out about them by the bio just above their tweet. If they have no bio, or link I block them if they give me a negative feeling. So far I have 85 followers. I am following 133. You can see your followers followers as well, and they can see you. Your tweets then rise expotentially by those interested in you. Hope this helps explain, Cheryl, aka Somebody, aka Muffyjo.
I "tweet" hope and peace in inspirational short messages out to the world with a taste of my store as well.....
No, Twitter does not guarentee sales, but I have noticed a modest increase in hits with this plan, and I feel good about what I am doing too.

Little behind the times on following the Auctiva board, working so hard on getting my fall and Christmas wreaths finished and listed.
I did check out the blog on Google Boot Camp and wanted to comment on what I believe needs to be added however...there is no place to add a comment on this particular blog.
I do not follow the boards here very much. Not sure How to do the twitter thing. I think I have an account but I agree it is hard to keep with all this stuff.
can anyone fill me in how to tie in my twitter account (assuming I have one) I think I may under the name of toysbyrena for I am tying to go with having mostly all my sties and sales under this name. Which by the way is my ebay id.
I would love to learn how to promote and my Auctiva store there. I know I have some great items. Something for everyone if you like collectibles and toys ( I thought I would though in the sales pitch too)
Can someone tell me how to set all this up and what to do with it and how it works? I hear about it on the news but I am not sure how to tie twitter into sales.
I know I have to market myself but not sure how to start. I am still trying to fix my store and go over what I have and editing it. Boy what fun. There are over 3,000 items to look at and I am still trying to fix it.
Just to let you know the store seems to be working.... That is the best news. I have one person to thank and she knows who she is, that is if she ever reads this board. I do not see her here.
I would love some input and how this all work with twitter and some ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Just incase you would like to check out my auctiva store: http://renacollectibles.com/ you can email to if you like. I am not sure I am allowed to put my email address here I do not see any others so I do not know. But my website has my email address too.
