HELP! Anyone else having problems today? I had a customer call to say she couldn't get my site to load. I just tried it both from the direct url and from a link and from my dashboard and sure enough, nothing. Just keeps spinning and spinning and spinning!
Just wondered it AC was down of if it is just my site????
I tried loading your site ,mine and several others. they all loaded but yours took almost 45 seconds to load. mine and the others were about 30 seconds to load. much slower than normal so there is a problem somewhere
I actually got an order just a few minutes ago and noticed something that you should all be aware of. For items that we only had one in stock it is now showing them as -1 rather than zero.
This same problem with the slow site and -1 inventory counts happened a few weeks ago as well.
My Web site is slow, too. This is bad. If I was a customer, I would move on to another search. We can't afford any customer lost. I also notice this morning when I logged into Auctiva Commerce Dash board to mark a customers order as shipped, it was very slow opening an as I went from section to section it was very very slow to open. I was going to do some editing, but the screens changing was so slow I gave up.
Cleared Cache and history - 22 seconds in IE, 16 second in FF
It seems to be the initial load, "waiting for storename.auctivacommerce.com/...", once connection has been made to the stores URL the page seems to load perfectly with no delay or hanging.
I have also noticed that any dashboard pages are taking a while to load (not quite so bad though), again - "waiting for merchant.auctivacommerce.com/...". This includes Dashboard pages, designer pages and theme previews.
Looks as though it might be time for AC to either purchase or replace their servers.
Ok Itake back what I said about the dashboard not being so bad, I have just waited 2 1/2 minutes for the 'edit theme' page to open. Google Chrome wont even log me in. IE now dosn't stand a chance opening a page with its built in 'time out' feature.

This issue should be resolved now for storefront and dashboard access. I'm still gathering details regarding the failure but in general there was a database failure that required us to move to our backup database.

Chris, sorry but neither IE9 and FF work for that URL. I got to the login screen in IE9 but couldn't get anything to load when I put in the PW. FF gave me a 404 error, "can't find the server"

The AC login comes up, log in no problem. From the log in screen it will either go to processing or solid blue screen for ever. It never goes to Merchant Dashboard. The web site is now coming up fast and any searching, page changing or ordering working like it sould..Now if the Merchant Dashboard would only start back working I will be able to catch on editing and posting customer orders as ship sending them their needed tracking information. I'll set an wait....tick tick tick tick
