Exciting news! When we first launched Auctiva Commerce in January 2009, we wanted to provide our users with a lucrative alternative to selling on eBay. Initially, we offered Auctiva Commerce free through April of 2009, giving our customers sufficient time to check us out, set up a Store and give it a whirl.
Then as we all got our feet wet, and dove head first into the realm of e-Commerce, we wanted to thank our loyal customers with a $9.95 credit applied to their May invoice.
NOW 100 % FREE THROUGH MAY 2009!!!
Instead, as we continue to build the strength in our community and our presence online, we have decided to extend our free trial offer completely, through May of 2009.
We’d like to provide our current and new Store owners an extra boost in this challenging economy, as we continue to add features and polish our product.
Thank you -

Great news! As a special 'thank you' to all of you, our first Auctiva Commerce Store owners, we're going to provide you with a $9.95 credit towards your May invoice. Keep in mind that your Stores are still free through April 2009, but we wanted to give you an extra boost as you continue to build your stores and capture your market share. We are well on our way to building a strong, lucrative marketplace. We're confident that as we continue to work together, your sales will multiply.
Thank you -
Chris

Thank you Chris, Jeff, and Auctiva Staff. You have my support and loyalty even without this incentive and nice gesture, but it is very much appreciated!
I am baffled. I am trying to sign up for a store on Auctiva Commerce and NOWHERE is there a link to sign up. Just videos and more information on every tab.
HELP! I'm trying to do this by tonight...March 31st.

Here you go: You have to sign up for an Auctiva.com account first if you don't already have one (that is free).

I'm pleased to announce that you can now open an Auctiva Commerce store without an invite! To do so log in to your Auctiva.com account and click on the "Sign up for an AuctivaCommerce account" link under the "Store" tab. You do need to have an Auctiva account to have an Auctiva Commerce store.
If you have any other questions regarding Auctiva Commerce, please go to www.auctivacommerce.com
Thank you

Thank you all at AC for your efforts. The discount is much appreciated and I hope that all challenges still ahead of us will have been met by the end of May. Keep up the good work, we are through the initial shock now!
Originally posted by vintage*peacock: So, if we are already signed up & have a store, where do we put in our payment information so AucCom can bill us (when the time comes)?
to echo, and to further Susan's question - where do we put our info when it does come time?
Also, if you are not a "first Auctiva Commerce Store owner", what happens? Are those newcomers going to be charged $9.95, and not us (first storeowners)?
And if they are going to be charged, and/or if we "first Auctiva Commerce Store owners" are going to receive a "credit", is the the credit due to our loyalty and sticking with AucCom?
Or is the credit due to the not-quite-fully-functional-and/or-working storefronts? If the latter is true, shouldn't that credit be extended to newcomers as well? and if that is true, then this is not truly a "pass/credit" to the "first Auctiva Commerce Store owners"...
Sorry for the wet blanket folks, but I don't usually thank someone for screwing up my "order".
I would've been in a more accepting mood if they had just come out and said, point blank, that due to the issues of non-functionality, we are extending the 1st payment to June 1st. That would have at least been respectful to us, and not so disingenous on AucCom's part.
Gail - aka Clara "where's the beef" aka Gail "what's the truth"
What's that saying..don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
I really don't care what the reason is, I just found it to be a complimentary and courteous gesture on Auctiva's part for whatever reasons.
Give 'em a break Gail, I really believe they are trying their best to do the right thing.
Sometimes I think we expect explanations for things that don't really need much explaining. They chose to offer the credit, I'll accept it. The reasons just don't matter to me. Just my opinion and some may feel differently and want a full fledged explanation of why and how.
As for the newcomers, I think they will have to spell out what a newcomer is. Or at least use a date of registration that applies. Then it will be clear, as someone on another thread was inquiring about fees as well.
Accept the credit in the spirit in which it was given...a simple 'Thank You'. This message has been edited. Last edited by: LifeisLike,
Gail, I think you misunderstood, I wasn't commanding anything. I was only trying to look at the positive side of things. I'm sorry you interpreted it that way. Not my intention at all.
It was just nice to get a little good news for a change..
Thank you Auctiva whatever the reason. I do think you understand the struggles we have had and also realize that none were bestowed upon us intentionally, as is this credit. Your consideration is much appreciated. http://uptowngrandmacosmetics.auctivacommerce.com/
