We are still moving forward with our site release today. We are delaying the release a couple of hours to make sure that the impact that we have on customers using the admin portions of Auctiva Commerce are minimal. Meaning, the later in the night we release, the fewer people there will be on the site.
We are currently scheduled for 7:30 PM Pacific Time. We plan on rolling this out to one server at a time and thus you may not even notice the update. I just wanted to post here so we're all aware of this happening in case the admin site does go down for a portion of time.
Will post more updates here as we start and then complete the release.

As Kevin notes the update went smoothly - the following items were released this evening:
-- Custom logo sizing. You can now resize you uploaded logos to better fit the theme you have chosen. Upload and resizing of logos is accessed through your store admin at Store > Configure > Store Settings. The maximum dimensions are 900 x 400 pixels and the resizing ending will maintain aspect ratio. It is pretty easy to use and you can tinker with the sizes until you get it just right.
-- Custom Webpages. You can now create Custom Webpages to be included in your store. To do so go to Store > WebPages, and click on Add Webpage. You can then add your desired Page Title, and Page Content. At present you can link to the pages you create from within the other editable Pages on your site and, for more advanced users, by editing the Header and Footer of your site. At present the header/ footer editing is a bit tricky – we’re planning to make this better in one of our next releases.
-- Google Analytics integration. You can now easily add Google Analytics tracking to your store so that you can measure site traffic and assess visitor metrics. To add Google Analytics go to Reports > Google Analytics and enter your Google Urchin ID and select the desired options. After you have entered your Urchin code update your theme per the notes below to activate the tracking on the Auctiva Commerce side. If you don’t have a Google Analytics account go to: http://www.google.com/analytics/ to sign up. Google Analytics is a very powerful, free, web based site analytics platform which will help you measure the success of your Auctiva Commerce store.
-- Sitemap generation and submission. One of the ways to help your store to be found and indexed by the major search engines is to generate and submit a Sitemap to the search engines. This is now supported in Auctiva Commerce. To generate a Sitemap go to Marketing > Sitemap and follow the on screen directions. Note that you will need to create a Sitemap before the “Your SiteMap Address” link on this page will work.
-- JavaScript enhancements to make the sites faster and more efficient. We have expended a large amount of effort to make the sites quicker and more responsive.
-- New Themes! We’ve added two new themes since our last update. The two new themes are: Boxed In, and Paris. Check ‘em out – one of them may be a perfect fit for your store. Four more new themes are scheduled to go live on Thursday, March 5.
-- Numerous bug fixes and updates. Too many too list here but one of note is a fix to correctly show discounts on invoices.
-- Also as an update to what was released last time regarding Theme Update Functionality: We added the ability for you to easily update your theme to pull the latest fixes for that theme from our servers while maintaining any customization work you have done to your store. To use this feature go to Store > Theme > Theme Manager. Your selected theme will be enclosed in a red box. Click on it to enlarge and you’ll see an Update Theme button on the left side of the blue nav bar. When you click on Update Theme a dialog box will open asking if you would like to save any customization work you have performed; most likely you’ll want to click YES here to update your theme but maintain your customization work. It is recommended that you update your theme at least once a week to ensure you have the latest version installed.
Other than the scheduled themes noted above, these fixes have been deployed live and where applicable complementary Help and or FAQ documentation has been added to the Help page at http://www.auctivacommerce.com/Help/. As we roll out future enhancements I'll continue to add updates to this thread to let you know what has been released.

I just wanted to let you know that we just updated our Help site to include search functionality. It should now be a bit easier to find the Help or Setup doc that you need while working on your store. The search utilizes a Google Custom Search engine and is available here: http://www.auctivacommerce.com/Help/?page=1
I hope this helps with your store setup and research.
We also released a small software update yesterday to correct a few bugs primarily related to emails (both order confirmation and email templates), checkout flow fixes, and one fix to correct Tax Rule issues.
Thank you -
Chris

As an FYI we released a batch of theme fixes last night in addition to three new themes! You should be able to access the new themes from the theme manager page if you'd like to give them a look.
Also note that in order to ensure that your store's copy of the theme you are using is up to date you must update your theme. We are planning to release theme fixes and/or new themes weekly so I would recommend that you update your theme at least once a week to ensure that you have the most current version.
To update your theme go to Store > Theme > Theme Manager. Once in the Theme Manager click on your selected theme. Then click on Update Theme and click on Yes when the window pops up asking if you would like to save customizations.
Thx,
Chris

As you may have already noticed we released a software upgrade last night which included several enhancements, including support for custom domains. The items included in the release are:
-- Custom Domain Support. We have created a help doc to assist you with acquiring and setting up a custom domain. Click Here to view the Custom Domains help doc. Note that there is a current open issue with using www domains which is currently being worked on by our Engineering team. Once implemented you will not need to perform the registrar editing noted earlier. UPDATE: This fix has now been implemented - domains with a www prefix will now redirect to the same domain without the www prefix.
Also note that due to secure page requirements the domain will switch to your auctivacommerce domain during checkout.
-- Enhancement to make it easier to add links to Custom Pages in the Footer. For a Help doc on this click Here
-- Correction to Google Base feeds to remove the UPC and Condition attributes. We'll bring these back in the future with an associated admin update to allow you to correctly populate the values.
Thank you -

All - We released three new themes last Friday. The new themes are available via the Theme Manager and are named:
Patriotic Rustic Red Wheatfield
We also corrected a few bugs on the San Francisco, Silicon Valley and and Power Up themes, and addressed a Category display issue for the Spectrum and Arrow themes.
Check 'em out and, as always, be sure to Update your Theme to ensure that you have the latest fixes.

I am pleased to announce that Auctiva Commerce has been updated to include the following features:
-- Enhanced currency selection logic. Now when you add a supported currency to your store the Exchange Rate and Currency Symbol will automatically populate. Before today’s update you had to manually find the symbol for a currency on the internet and paste it into the Auctiva Commerce admin. This was a cumbersome process which has now been streamlined.
-- Transition of all users to the European Central Bank for Automatic Exchange Rates. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York has discontinued support for programmatic access to foreign exchange rates. Due to this change we have transitioned all stores with any foreign currencies to use the European Central Bank for Automatic Exchange Rates. We have performed all the transition work for you via a database update to make the changes as seamless as possible for you. You’ll also notice that the Federal Reserve Bank of New York option has been removed from the Auctiva Commerce admin. In the future we’ll be researching alternative foreign exchange rate providers to replace the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Numerous bug fixes and other system upgrades were also addressed. The system upgrades were mainly in the area of performance and security and should be transparent changes. The notable bug fixes include:
-- Bug fix for web page previews. Previously if you had a custom domain and created a custom web page you would be logged out if you previewed the web page. This has been corrected.
-- Bug fix for setup wizards. Previously if you were using the setup wizards and had to go back to correct something you could not then go forward again. This has been corrected.
-- Bug fix to make phone number optional in Checkout. Previously the phone number of the buyer was required during the Checkout process. Phone number has now been made optional.
-- Bug fix for orphaned items. Previously items were being randomly orphaned for no apparent reason. This has been corrected with this release.
-- Bug fix to include missing help text on the Payment methods page.
-- Bug fix for gift certificates. Previously gift certificates failed to correctly process. This has been corrected in this release.
These fixes have been deployed live and where applicable complementary Help and or FAQ documentation has been added to the Help page at http://www.auctivacommerce.com/Help/.

I am pleased to announce that Auctiva Commerce has been updated to include the following features and/or bug fixes:
Addition of Condition attribute to Google Base Feeds - Store Admin ==================================================================
In anticipation of Google's June 30th requirement to include the Condition attribute in all Google Base feeds we have modified Auctiva Commerce to include this feature. All feeds generated from today forward will contain the Condition attribute.
We have added the Condition attribute to the Product Details page of your store admin so that you may set the appropriate Condition per product. Per Google the valid values are New, Used and Refurbished.
Important Note: We have defaulted all products to New - if you're products are not New you will need to set each product to the appropriate value.
Finally, since the Condition attribute will be required by Google on June 30th you need to regenerate and resubmit a Google Base feed to ensure that Google has an accurate view of your products. When you regenerate your feed SET THE OVERWRITE EXISTING FEED FILE OPTION TO YES within the Auctiva Commerce Google Base feed page. This will ensure that your Google Base feed is updated with the new attribute.
An Auctiva Commerce Help Doc that describes how to submit a feed to Google Base can be found Here.
Shipping Calculator Fix - Public StoreFront ===========================================
In a previous release a defect was introduced that prevented the Shipping Estimator from showing up when a product was added to the Shopping Cart from the Product Detail page.
This has been corrected - now immediately after adding an item to the Shopping Cart from the Product Detail page the Shipping Estimator will appear on the right rail of your storefront.
SiteMap Creation Fix - Store Admin ==================================
In Internet Explorer an error message was being thrown when users attempted to use the Create and Submit Sitemap function on the Meta Data and Google Integration page. This has been corrected.
These fixes have been deployed live and where applicable Help and or FAQ documentation has been updated on the Auctiva Commerce Help Site.

I am pleased to announce that Auctiva Commerce has been updated to include the following features:
Optional Automation of Google Base Feed Submission - Store Admin ================================================================
With this release we have added the ability for your Google Base Feeds to be automatically sent to Google on a daily basis. This will help to ensure that Google has a current view of your product set and will also save you time since you will only have to set up automatic submission once. After that it will be on "auto-pilot" so to speak.
One Important Note: Due to bandwidth restrictions only .zip files can be submitted to Google using the automated feature. We will create a .zip file for you and submit it to Google but you must register the same .zip file name with Google as well in order for the upload to be successful. To register your .zip filename with Google go to: http://www.google.com/base/newfeed?ensureUrlPresent - you will need to sign in once you reach the Google Base page.
After you have registered your .zip filename with Google, choose the "Create, Compress and Upload Feed Nightly" option from the tasks dropdown on the Marketing > Feeds > GoogleBase Feed page and click on the little arrow to the right of the dropdown list to activate.
There is also an updated Auctiva Commerce Help document on the subject which can be found Here.
Additional Google Base Attributes - Store Admin ===============================================
In this release we have added four new attributes to your Google Base feeds. These are all optional but may help your products to be found via Google Base. The four new attributes being added to your Google Base feeds are: Brand, ISBN, MPN, and UPC. For brand we are dual purposing the manufacturer attribute which already exists on the Product Detail page. Similarly for MPN we are dual purposing the Manuf. Part No. field which also already existed in the Product Detail page. ISBN and UPC are new attributes which are being added to the Product Detail page. If you have data in these fields it will be sent to Google as part of your Google Base feed.
Bulk Upload - Store Admin =========================
I am pleased to announce that in this release the Bulk Upload feature has been implemented. To use the Bulk Upload feature go to Inventory > Bulk Upload Inventory. From this page you can view the Help Documentation for this feature and download a Sample Product Upload file that you can use to upload your inventory items.
Note that you can load up to 5,000 items at a time without external image links. If your items have external image links you can upload up to 2,000 items per upload file.
In addition the following bug fixes were delivered in this release: ===================================================================
-- Update to correctly process orders when gift certificates and other payments are applied -- Clean up of erroneous red box which was displaying on the Place Orders page. -- Clean up of required fields display on Checkout pages -- Update to currency provider page to correctly display the provider -- Correction to customization preview window to support scrollbars -- Correction to Tax Codes report to correctly utilize date ranges -- Update to variant pricing logic to correctly display discounting of variant price -- Fix to the Remove Selected logic on the Manage Inventory page -- Display fix to the Manage Currencies page -- Correction to fix the "Narrow by Results" search function -- Correction to category logic to correctly reflect category moves and deletions -- Correction to kit logic error messaging -- Fix to Customize Links button error which was causing an error page to display -- Correction to minimum / maximum purchase quantity validation logic -- Added validation to subscriber group naming to correctly limit length of subscriber group names -- Correction to correctly maintain price and quantity changes for manually entered orders -- Update to shipping estimator to correctly display shipping estimates when the Enter key is used
We also released several new themes and numerous theme fixes today with this release. The new themes can be viewed from the Theme Manager page; the new themes included in this release were: Animals and Pets 001, Beauty Store, Beauty Store 002, Corporate 002, Corporate 005, Corporate 007, Electronic Store 001, Gray, and Women Store.

I am pleased to announce that Auctiva Commerce has been updated to include the following features:
Ability to associate your store products to external category trees =============================================================
With this release we have added the ability for you to associate your products to external category trees such as Google Merchant Center (formerly Google Base). For Google Merchant Center the categories that you associate to will be used to populate the Product Type attribute in your Google Merchant Center feeds. At present you can also associate your products to the Auctiva Marketplace Platform category tree. Mapping to Auctiva Marketplace Platform categories will help buyers find your products on the Auctiva shopping portal that is scheduled to be released in 2010. As a convenience feature we also added the ability for you to associate your store categories to external category trees and we added the ability for you to associate products to external categories in bulk. There is an Auctiva Commerce help article which describes how to associate your products and categories to external category trees - it can be viewed Here.
Additional Google Base Attributes - Store Admin ===============================================
In this release we have added dimensional attributes and the product_type attributed to your Google Merchant Center feeds. The dimensional attributes that we added are length, Width, height and weight. These will be populated based off of your product detail data. As noted above we will also now send the product_type attribute which will be populated based off of the product category mappings as noted above.
Updates to the Shopping Cart ============================
With this release we have also updated and streamlined the Shopping Cart functionality to simplify and streamline the process of adding items to the cart, receiving a shipping estimate and checking out. This update included: Removal of mini-basket on the right rail, move of shipping estimator into shopping cart, redirect of all checkout links so as to initiate all checkouts from the shopping cart page, and inclusion of couponing options on the shopping cart page.
Updates to the Multiple Image Viewer ====================================
With this release we also updated the multiple image viewer for products with multiple images. Now, when the user clicks on the More Images link the Multiple Image viewer will display all of the available multiple images in thumbnail fashion and allow the user to select which image they would like to view full size. The Previous/Next buttons have been eliminated.
Updates to allow removal of a Category from products in bulk ============================================================
Similar to the way you can add a category to multiple products at once, we have added in the ability to remove a category from multiple products at once. Removing categories from multiple products at once operates the same way as adding categories to multiple products at once - select the products you would like to edit and click the minus sign next to the category you would like to remove.
Note that we also cleaned up the Manage Categories page and added the ability to move store categories using a drag and drop function. To access the updated Manage Categories page navigate to Inventory >>> Add/Manage Categories in the merchant admin.
In addition the following minor features or bug fixes were delivered in this release: =====================================================================================

Products imported from Auctiva will now be set to Shippable, while products imported using the Bulk Import tool in Auctiva Commerce will be set to Shippable IF the value is not populated in the import file. -- Correction to cart to show checkout button even in the scenario when a non-shippable item is in the Cart -- Correction to accurately display the user's selected currency through checkout even if not signed in -- Fix to the Customize Links button - it was non-functional for a short time -- Correction to correctly handle addresses for users that pay with PayPal. It was overwriting their Auctiva Commerce address with their PayPal address which may not match. -- Correction to Checkout logic to fix an error where the cart was being emptied in certain browser security scenarios when the user had a custom domain applied to their store. -- Correction to Cart logic to only enable Checkout Button when there are items in the cart. This was causing a Security Header error before. -- Correction to Manage Inventory page to consistently and accurately allow for bulk removal of products -- Fix to Shipping Methods page to only Save a Sipping Method when the user clicks the SAVE button. Was prematurely saving methods before. -- Correction to Blank Theme to accurately display the Edit Style link -- Correction to correctly handle and display shipping options when an item that requires separate shipping is added to the cart. -- Correction to correctly handle changes in countries/province in the Shipping Estimator - used to throw an error. -- Correction to export from Auctiva - the feature was intermittently unavailable prior to the fix. -- Correction to wizards to prevent background text from overlaying them when they are opened. -- Correction to Password reset function to correctly display the password criteria message and password text area. -- Correction to Manage Inventory page display in IE. -- Correction to prevent use of brackets in category names as this was causing data validation errors. -- Correction to add validation when adding new shipping methods. -- Correction to Coupon creation logic so that coupons are not saved until the user clicks on the Save button. -- Update to WebPages section to clean up list of available themes to reflect what is currently available. -- Update to wizard buttons to show correctly in IE8. -- Update to Manage Inventory page to correct intermittent page load issues. -- Update to include additional UK provinces on Warehouse setup page for new stores. -- Update to email templates flow to allow for editing of email template text using the editor during creation of an email template. -- Typo fix on Google Analytics setup page. -- Update to Payment Methods page to correctly refresh content when a different payment method is selected. -- Correction to SiteMap page to correctly display link after SiteMap has been generated. -- Update to fix miscellaneous alignment issues on the SiteMap page. -- Update to correct incorrect display of Sort by Upload Date link on Manage Inventory page

I am pleased to announce that Auctiva Commerce has been updated to include the following features:
Addition of more attributes to the Product Import feature =========================================================
With this release we have added the ability to upload up to 5 images per product using the Product Import tool. We have also added the ISBN and UPC fields to the Product Import tool.
Addition of many more attributes to the Bulk Edit page ======================================================
In this release we have reworked the Bulk Edit feature to make it much more usable and efficient. You can now edit over 25 different product attributes and may easily apply one value to all products using the Bulk Edit tool. An updated Auctiva Commerce Help article which describes how to use the Bulk Edit tool can be found Here.
Addition of enhanced Product Search / Filtering feature =======================================================
With this release we have also updated and streamlined the search and filtering capabilities in Auctiva Commerce. You may now search for and filter products based off of nearly every product attribute available. The new filtering function also integrates with the existing category based filtering allowing you to filter by category and product level attributes. A new Auctiva Commerce Help article which describes how to use the new product filtering Bulk Edit tool can be found Here.
Ability to Import email addresses from Auctiva.com customers into your Auctiva Commerce store =============================================================================================
With this release we added the ability to Import your past eBay customers email addresses from your Auctiva account into your Auctiva Commerce store. Once imported you can send them an email letting them know about your Auctiva Commerce store or announce a promotion you may be running. A new Auctiva Commerce Help article which describes how to Import your past eBay customers email addresses from your Auctiva account into your Auctiva Commerce store can be found Here.
Addition of two new email templates that are marketing focused vs. order or store management focused ====================================================================================================
In conjunction with the email address Import feature noted above we have added two new email templates into Auctiva Commerce. These are intended to give you a starting point for marketing to your past customers. The two new templates are named "Announce a Promotion" and "Welcome Past Customers" and have already been loaded into your stores. A new Auctiva Commerce Help FAQ which describes the two new templates can be found Here.
Update to use your store name in Auctiva Commerce emails ========================================================
In order to complement your store branding with this release we have updated Auctiva Commerce emails to use your Store Name in the from address. Note that the actual email address remains an ***@auctivacommerce.com address but your store name is displayed to the recipient as well.
Rework of the Payment setup pages including introduction of the "Payments by Mail" payment type ===============================================================================================
With this release we reorganized the payment setup pages to be clearer and less error prone. As part of this rework we also introduced the "Payments by Mail" payment type to allow you to more efficiently accept checks, money orders and other mail in payment types.
***** IMPORTANT NOTE *****
If you currently have Checks enabled on your store please review your payment setup - if your intent is to accept Checks or Money Orders by mail you will most likely want to set up "Payments by Mail" instead of Checks. The current Checks payment method is actually an eCheck and requires a properly configured and enabled Authorize.net gateway in order to work correctly. It has been renamed eCheck as part of this release.
If you enable the "Payments by Mail" payment type, and a customer chooses to pay using that method they will be shown payment instructions on the Receipt page during checkout. You can edit these instructions (up to 400 characters) on within the Other tab accessible by Store > Payments > Other.
An updated Auctiva Commerce Help article which describes how to set up Payment Methods can be found Here.
Enabling of Google Checkout for all users ==========================================
With this release we have also made Google Checkout available to all users.
***** IMPORTANT NOTE *****
As noted previously Google Checkout contains several limitations. Please read the Google Checkout Setup Guide before enabling Google Checkout for your store.
Addition of a Store Events webpart ==================================
With this release we have added a Store Events webpart which is included on the dashboard. This will be used to communicate the status of various Auctiva Commerce store tasks and jobs. Initially it will be used to communicate the status of jobs submitted to Import email addresses from Auctiva. In the future other Store Event messages will be displayed using this feature.
In addition the following minor features or bug fixes were delivered in this release: =====================================================================================
-- Correction to storefront where clicking Payment buttons too fast resulted in user getting thrown back to cart. -- Correction to Bulk Import tool to add validation for character length and invalid characters. -- Typographical correction on the Edit User page. -- Correction to appropriately display "separate handling" orders. -- Correction to accurately display all active payment methods for a store. -- Correction to correctly load a users shipping addresses upon login. -- Correction to accurately update currency values when the base currency is updated. -- Correction to accurately reflect shipping costs between Auctiva Commerce and Google Checkout. -- Correction to accurately reflect shipping costs between Auctiva Commerce and PayPal Express. -- Correction to footer store link when in customization mode to accurately direct to store admin versus the store. -- Update to Wizard setup links on Dashboard to make more streamlined.
These fixes and updates have been deployed live and where applicable Help and or FAQ documentation has been updated on the Auctiva Commerce Help Site and as noted above.
Thank you -
Chris
Last few items that I've bought from Auctiva Commerce Sellers:
I am pleased to announce that Auctiva Commerce has been updated to include the following features:
Option to disable Gift Messages =============================== With this release we have added the ability for you to disable gift messages for your products. You may now optionally offer gift messages, independent of Gift Wrap. To update your Gift Message settings navigate to Marketing > Gift Options in the admin. You will see an "Enable Gift Messages" checkbox - unclick it if you do not want to offer Gift Messages.
Google Checkout enhancements to accommodate multiple warehouses and "ship Separately" items =========================================================================================== Google Checkout does not support multiple shipment orders. So, in this release we have added logic to our cart page to analyze the cart contents and disable the Google Checkout button only if the cart either contains Prohibited Items OR contains items that require multiple shipments. With this fix you may now enable Google Checkout on your store even if you have multiple warehouses. Note that since the Google Checkout button may be disabled depending on cart contents it is recommended that you offer multiple payment options to your buyers.
Updates to Google Base feeds to use Auctiva Commerce description field ====================================================================== We have updated our Google Merchant Center feeds to use the Auctiva Commerce description field to populate Google Merchant Center feed description attribute. This is to more closely match Google's specs regarding the description attribute: "Please make sure you include the same item description available on your website in the description field in your data feed." The Summary field in Auctiva Commerce will still be used for the Auctiva Commerce Shop tab so it is recommended that you continue to populate it but it is no longer required for Google Merchant Center feeds.
*** IMPORTANT NOTE *** This change is being reverted. Once the reversion is compete we will be back to using the Summary value to populate the description field in our Google Merchant Center feeds.
Updates to PayPal payment flow in Auctiva Commerce checkout =========================================================== With this release we have updated the PayPal payment flow in Auctiva Commerce checkout to remove one page from the flow. Prior to this update you had to click on two PayPal buttons to checkout with PayPal. We have removed the second click which streamlines the checkout flow. We also updated the PayPal button we use to show that Credit Cards can be used in PayPal.
Updates to Google Checkout to add default shipping rates per method =================================================================== We have added the capability for you to add a default shipping rate per each Integrated Carrier shipping method in your store. These are available to protect you in the event of a shipping rate callback timeout when using Google Checkout. To set the default rate edit each Integrated Carrier shipping method in your store via Store > Shipping > Methods in the admin. Note that if you do not set a default rate for an Integrated Carrier shipping method the Default Ship Rate set within the Google Checkout payment gateway will be used. This is an optional feature but is recommended.
Update to Cart messaging when Shipping Methods are not available ================================================================= We have added messaging to the Cart which will display when there are no shipping methods available to the user's chosen destination. Previously we did not effectively inform the buyer of this condition. Now we will display a message letting them know of the error.
In addition the following bug fixes were delivered in this release: ===================================================================
-- Correction to Inventory Filtering logic to handle null values in the Date Created or Last Modified fields. -- Correction to validation of PayPal settings fields on the PayPal payment gateway setup pages. -- Correction to messaging presented to the user when an item that is on back-order is added to the cart. -- Correction to fix an intermittent load error on the Edit Product page in the admin when using Firefox. -- Correction to Google webmaster tools site verification for stores that use a site disclaimer.
These fixes and updates have been deployed live and where applicable Help and or FAQ documentation has been updated on the Auctiva Commerce Help Site.

I am pleased to announce that Auctiva Commerce has been updated to include the following features of fixes:
-- Addition of validation to credit card based payments. With this feature we will now display an error message on the screen if the buyer does not enter the correct information required to process their credit card; for example if the billing Zip Code is not populated.
-- Update to use a drop-down system for the entry of the Billing address during Checkout. *** IMPORTANT NOTE*** With this update, after selecting the country the buyer will then be provided a drop-down of the States/Provinces for that country, IF there are any States/Provinces defined for that country in your Auctiva Commerce store. If there are no States/Provinces defined for the selected country the buyer will be able to type in the State/Province name. By default Auctiva Commerce provides States/Provinces for the following countries: Australia, Canada, China, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the United States. To edit the Countries and/or Provinces available in your store go to Store > Shipping > Countries in your Auctiva Commerce merchant admin. Be sure to use the correct Country code, Province name and Province code when editing your countries or provinces. This site contains a list of Countries/Country codes and associated Provinces/Province codes and may be a good starting point if you are planning to edit your countries or provinces. However, please note that this site has not been audited so please verify any updates to your countries or provinces with resources or sites specific to your region.
-- Update to the default list of available provinces for the United Kingdom. To coincide with the update to the entry of the Billing address during Checkout noted above, we have updated our default list of United Kingdom provinces to be more comprehensive. The new default list contains 131 provinces in total, and includes provinces in the Channel Islands, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
-- Addition of an Address Book drop-down to the manual New Order creation flow. Now, if you create an order in Auctiva Commerce for a customer (for example a phone-in order), if the customer has an account in Auctiva Commerce we will provide the customer's stored shipping addresses in a drop-down so that you can easily create a complete order.
-- Update to the Google Merchant Center feed page. We have updated the Google Merchant Center feed page to be more user-friendly and streamlined. With the update the most common Google Merchant Center feed operations should be simpler and easier to perform. If you have already set up your Google Merchant Center feeds you do not have to update or change anything as we have imported your previous settings into the new page format. Please note that the "Overwrite Existing Feed File" option is being retired with the new page format; now each time you generate the feed the existing feed file be overwritten.
-- Addition of Dashboard webpart to display the status of your Google Merchant Center feed setup. Since Google is such an important traffic driver we have added a dashboard webpart to let you know the status of your Google Merchant Ceneter feed setup. The webpart will tell you if your feed is set up and if you have enabled automated nightly submission of your feed.
These fixes and updates have been deployed live and where applicable Help and or FAQ documentation has been updated on the Auctiva Commerce Help Site.
