Creating Sub-categories in Beta Test

This is a Beta test issue. I sell DVDs and would like to create sub-categories for my items. For example, I'd like to have my Gunsmoke Season 1 included in a Gunsmoke category with other Gunsmokes, have the Gunsmoke category show up in a Westerns category with other TV westerns and have the Westerns category show up in TV Shows. I set up sub-categories fine, but items seem to be getting combined.

Also, I want to set up a Westerns category that includes TV and movie westerns so someone interested in westerns could scan the category.

I'm certain other users will want to have sub-categories. Any thougts?

I should have known the answer would be found as soon as I posted my comment. Sub-categories can be created and items can be listed in multiple categories.

I had several problems in figuring this out. First, I did not realize that sub-categories without products are not displayed - a nice feature. Also, just putting in one item in a category does not seem to allow the category to be displayed. Instead, only the item is displayed.

Also, there are default displays that can be changed - also a nice feature.
