hi i have been talking to the people on support and thought my problem was all over , they sent me a message last night to say that it would be on my listings within 6 hours but it's still not on there. my token has been set up so what reason would there be as to why it is not on there yet. is there anyone who can help again please. must add all my listings show on here in my account do i have to transfer them at all to ebay

Hi Sue,

Not sure I understand the current problem or your current status in moving to Auctiva for services.

I read where you were having problems getting a Token from eBay. I assume that's been resolved, or has it not?

Is the current problem with new listings or are you waiting for the old active ones at eBay to be updated with the Auctiva Scrolling Gallery, etc. ? If that's in process, it can take some time to complete (per FAQ).

hi thank you for replying it is waiting for the old listings to get it . the support team have been great but they said 6 hours . when it is on my old items it will then go to all the new listings i put on thats right isn't it.

Yes, 6 hours (or more) is the norm for the listings to be pulled, updated with the Scrolling Gallery, pass security check at eBay, and reappear.

New listings submitted from Auctiva will automatically have the Scrolling Gallery included, when that feature is ON (default) in your Auctiva Account settings.

If you haven't done so already, here's some things I'd do before you start listing from Auctiva ....

1. Go to HELP at the top of the page and read through all the FAQs. There's alot of good startup info there.

2. At HELP, there are also Tutorials you can take. There are also a few sticky threads in the Forum with aids to new members of the Community (and this is a good group of folks).

3. Make decisions on what services you want to use or not use. Auctiva Insurance and Auctiva Checkout are two that always need consideration.

4. Double-check your Auctiva Account settings and make sure they are correct for the way you want to operate.

5. Ask questions in the Forum or via Support Case, if you don't understand a service or function.

Hope that all makes good sense.

hi again well i have to say i am really disappointed as it has been days now and i still don't have this on any of my listings
and it is not from anything i have done
don't know what to say except it's hopeless

Hi,

Are you saying that listings that were active on ebay at the time you completed getting the token haven't yet been pulled and had the Scrolling Gallery added? That's only done for the active listings, so just want to double-check. New listings submitted from Auctiva using their lister will automatically add the Scrolling Gallery.

hi but i have no listings at all with it on apart from two realy old ones that i re-listed this is a pointless exercise as they said last night they were going to sort it again as a priotity my priorities are obviusly higher than theres. back to basics it should be on all my listings and it isn't they say there is no reson that it shouldn't be so i am going to find something else instead as this could be losing me sales

hi agai yes about the active listings they have not been pulled so i have nothing by the way i have not as yet listed with auctiva but have not had any problems with it on my listings in the past so i am now well fed up

Is this a new Auctiva account or did you renew the Token on an old Auctiva account? Confused

If it's an old account, I don't believe they do the pull and update for the Scrolling Gallery on anything but brand new accounts. It's a one-time only aid for new members to get them started. Could that be why it failed to happen?

hi i have been talking again to the support team but it seams that at the weekend they just dissapear from the face of the earth. they have assured me that my listings which are on the only account i have and have had it for 4 years with this on there. the support team assure me that it is priority but then they dissapear and so in theory it isnt a priority is it.
i will just do with out it there are others out there that are i suppose just as good
but thank you
