While this won't make you feel any better, for what it's worth, there are many, many people listing with Auctiva that have had zero problems - myself included! I hope you can get your problems worked out and settle into a nice routine with Auctiva soon. Good luck! 2purrcats

What kind of problems are you having? If you post them, maybe the people here can help... It's really not that difficult to use Auctiva.

It always tells you why it failed. You can email tech support with the code # that it generates and they can give you the details. Auctiva works beautifully. I've run hundreds of items with Auctiva with 0 issues at all. Auctiva beats Turbo Lister in every way possible. I suggest you read the stickies and help files again.

Good advice from the folks up above. I've been using Auctiva well over two years and can't imagine using another service. As noted above, read the stickies in each category...they are a wealth of information. Best of Luck, Donna

business?! slooooww.....i had a rough february, march picked up, april was slooowww again and may isn't looking that good either. eeekkk!!! i'm frightfully close to losing my "powerseller" status now too not good, not good at all!!! *sniff, sniff* ebay has NOT been good to me lately, and trying to make a living off of it has become quite difficult, especially with a wedding to plan for! only a few short weeks left and i'll be Mrs. Micheal Webster.....YAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!! I can't wait! we'll be poor, but we'll be "in love"...lol. at least for a little while until the strains of "no money" start putting pressure on the marriage and we end up in counseling by the end of the year! LOL *hopefully not* how's things with you? hopefully they're better on your end....*he, he, he* cheers, kathleen

Now now, don't be so pessimistic Not even married yet and already thinking about counseling? LOL. well I've really slowed down on ebay for the summer, I'm just too busy with my "real" job during the summer to do much else. My own private store is doing OK, sales are slow but when the do come, it's a nice feeling that I didn't pay anything to FEEbay (cept paypal fees). You take care, and wishing you the BEST! --------------------------------------------------- BigCrumbs - a perfect way for eBay sellers to make additional revenue. BigCrumbs

Hey Donna, ....so you "send the best of everything" do you???? how 'bout some $$$$ LOL - kidding! glad to see you too. sadly, i can't smooch on my micheal right now cause he's in charleston, sc for work....and i should totally be there with him right now...but retarded me, i look at my "ebaying" as a job and was concerned about going away for the week and not being able to answer emails, mail packages....sheesh! i take feebay all too seriously huh?! ....but this IS my "job"....and if i'm not selling, i'm not making and we'll be very "poor" newlyweds...sniff, sniff. i even started selling MARY KAY and AVON to see if either would make me a few bucks. MK is nice, but entirely too expensive....Avon is a bit easier with the variety of items and lower price-points. so, ANYONE NEED A LIPSTICK? MOISTURIZER? HOW 'BOUT SOME BUBBLE BATH??? i'm your girl if you need ANY kind of skin care *he, he, he* Let me know!! Ok then, I'm off to clean the house....gotta make this place look good before he comes home so he doesn't think i sat my butt in front of the computer the whole week (which i did, but he doesn't need to know that! - *wink, wink*) cheers, kathleen

I assume she is referring to a non-eBay store.

Don't worry, this is a public forum Biscuit is correct, I have my own website, on my own domain name. It has nothing to do with ebay, but I use Paypal for a payment processor. (I'm gonna try to get Google Checkout going, then I won't have to pay ANY fees ) It was a LOT of work to set up & get going, but definitely worth it. For me, at least. For example, I sold an item for $119.99. Using www.ebcalc.com, I figured out that I saved $8.86 on eBay fees. That's not counting in the monthly store fee. Although what I sell probably isn't of interest to you, you can check out the store at www.edgeandengine.com/store--------------------------------------------------- BigCrumbs - a perfect way for eBay sellers to make additional revenue. ok kbalona....question.... i currently use the paypal buttons and cart on my site www.eleganthomebykml.com (which, depending on what page you go to, you can see that paypal messed up half my site with their latest "upgrades" and made all my buttons go screwy so now i'm having to resize them all...arrgggg) and was "researching" the google checkout you are speaking of....the site says it's Free until 2008....then what? ah.....i just found it....after the "promotion" of the free transactions expires, the rates go to: 2% + $0.20 per transaction , which is still cheaper than paypal (2.9% + .30) now my question is this...i noticed that on some of the "forum comments" that after someone checks out or adds items to their cart, they do not have the ability to be forwarded back to your web site? (like paypal does) also, the forum comments said that creating the "buttons" was somewhat tedious as it didn't save your info. now, with paypal, your buttons don't save either. all i do is copy the html and tweek the info...change the item #, $ and so forth by picking it out in the html code....follow me?? so, have you ever used the paypal merchant buttons and checkout process on your personal web site, and is using google checkout comparable? with the amount of items i have on my site, it will be a complete pita to switch over to google, but i'm tired of feebay/paypal ripping me off. do you like google checkout? sorry for the rambling....hope some of it made sense thanks, kathleen

I haven't looked into Google Checkout very much yet, because I'm so busy. Right now the only checkout method I'm using is PayPal IPN (Instant Payment Notification). It comes as a module with Zen Cart (the cart software I'm using). It's worked great. People don't need a PayPal account to pay me. Oh, I do not use the PayPal cart/buttons. When someone adds something to my store's cart, they go through my own checkout process, then at the payment point they are redirected to PayPal.com, where they pay, then when they're done they have the option to return to my store. For me, I think it'll be pretty easy to switch, I think I'll just have to install the Google Checkout module and configure it. Oh, I just had another $100 order (yes, another ) tonight. --------------------------------------------------- BigCrumbs - a perfect way for eBay sellers to make additional revenue. BigCrumbs
