Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me please and that I make sense.

I've created a shipping profile and I want to put in the location myself, not just the postcode. I've tried to change this and save it to the shipping profile so that it will be added to my master profile to no avail. I find that I have to go into every auction now and update the details manually. I don't want to accept the town it gives my postcode as it is 1.5hrs drive away, so I want to put my own town name in.

hi Cam, your postcode must be set up wrong in your account if it is that far from where you live.

In the shipping profile select "I will enter the location" and enter in the box what you want to show instead of your postcode.

You may need to select this shipping profile into the required master profile again to update it, long time since I have updated mine.

I would also expect that this change only applies to new listings created with these profiles and it will not be automatically applied to existing saved or live ones.

To change existing saved listings the 'find and replace' option in the saved listing folder should do the trick to replace the 'shipping field', however when I tried to update some recently due to a change in shipping costs it would not update the shipping fields although it said it had.

Best try on a few then visibly check them before posting to ebay.

I am having the same problems with selecting my own location in the shipping profile. I wish to add my specific suburb instead of the suburb that is selected automatically by the post code. There is about 25 suburbs within my post code. Can anyone tell me if they have overcome this problem and how?
