I renew my ebay token and then I get this message from auctiva.

An eBay account with your eBay username already exists, but belongs to a different user. Do you have multiple Auctiva accounts?


Failure 3748812

Can anyone please help?? Thank you, Kim

Hi Kim,

That's the usual message for having more than one Auctiva account, and your eBay username is already associated with the old account.

Usually, the Tokens are good for about 18 months.

Are you trying to setup a 2nd account?

Hi Danno, No, I am not trying to set up any other account. This is the one and only that I have ever used. I haven't used it for around 1 year though. Would that make any difference?

No, I don't think it would make a difference.

If you check your account settings, Site Preferences at eBay, do you show a valid 3rd party token for Auctiva? It's under the section "Third-party authorizations".

Since you are receiving that particular error message when you try to generate your token, it is indicative that your eBay account is already associated with an existing Auctiva account. If you contact our customer support team and let us know your eBay username, we'll be able to provide you with a solution to this problem.
