Hi. I have only just ventured in to Auctiva and having already listed my items on turbo lister I uploaded them with a veiw to taking more time to find my way around Auctiva. Anyway this morning I find that the listings have a scrolling gallery and thats great I did not realise I could do it that way. I though you had to create your listings on Auctiva.

The only concern I have is that auctiva only imported 8 of my 10 listings.
Does anyone know why this may be?

Many Thanks
Blibble.

Hi Blibble,

When you first signup to Auctiva, they do update your currently active listings with the Scrolling Gallery (SG). Usually, that process starts almost immediately (listings "Disappear" for the update and reappear after an eBay security check). After that one-time service, you do have to either list from Auctiva to get the SG appended at submission, or you can copy and paste the SG HTML code from the Store tab page to a listing.

Why only 8 of 10 were done is a mystery. Was there a delay between the signup (pass the Token), Auctiva checking for active listings (saw the 8), and the code being added? Were the 2 that didn't get the SG, the last two submitted, and were they submitted after the Token was created? Knowing the exact date and time you signed up and what listings were active and sequence of events since the signup, might give a clue to what happened. I did see one other new member complain that they didn't get their update immediately at signup during the last week and had several days delay until the SG process was done. It might have been a service outage or other problem that cause the delay.

Thanks for that Danno.
The 2 missing listings appeared later. A relist I put up later through ebay was also added to the gallery.
Al good stuff so far.
