I am getting the hang of using Auctiva and think I would really enjoy using it. The exception I have is my listings get timed out before they are posted or scheduled and then I lose all the description etc. I have put in. It takes so long for all of it to get done anyway and then to lose it all costs me too much time. If this continues to happen I will have to go back to using ebay for all my listings and I don't really want to do that. I live in the Central Standard time zone and do understand that there are some busier times than other, but this is bad. Any sugestions? ladf1

The only thing I can think of would be to check off the little box at login that says 'keep me signed in' or whatever. The only time I ever have to sign in again is sometimes after Thurs night maintenence.

This has happened to me several times also. If I'm in the middle of typing a description or something and need to go take photos I click on SAVE at the very bottom of my listing and then just come back into it when I'm ready to continue. Don't like it but it works.

Like wespro57 says, use the save button.

I type my description first, click on save then go back and finish the rest. I too have learned the hard way, if I edit my description, I immediately go to save again, so I don't lose my work.

I always pretype it in microsoft word and then save it...then copy it to auctiva's description. So if something happens like that or a storm brews in and knocks out your power..you still have your info right there in word. If you don't have word use your email and save it as draft.
if its a lengthy description remember to save it frequently like every ten minutes because if your power does go out or something happens...it will only save what you saved in the last save. Once you "save as" and label the file all you have to do is hit save and continue on typing. ONe thing i don't like about auctiva is when you save, it closes it out and then you have to reopen the listing to continue...what a drag! but i am not complaining its free.
