Are we allowed to use the templates on Auctiva on sites other than eBay? I know they cannot be posted to other sites automatically or tracked in any way.

Thanks,
Joe

Hi.
I'd sure like to know this too. Perhaps you could revise your title with attention to Jeff - Auctiva Jeff, that is? Smile

When people post with attention to me or any staff in particular we edit the title to remove it, or delete it. Otherwise every thread would have that.

You can use the Get HTML icon on the saved listings page and use the templates on other sites. Make sure to leave the link to our site in that is generated along with it.

I'm sorry Jeff. I didn't know this but can see why. Roll Eyes

Thanks for the response. Of course it would have the link left in it. I'd think this would be good for Auctiva but didn't want to take the 'liberty' unless your permission is given. Smile

Does Auctiva have any future plans to link to any other auction sites? So many of us are fleeing eBay, which means that Auctiva will also be left behind. I personally like using Auctiva and hate to see the site get left behind in eBay's dirty wake.

Thanks for any info.

Hi miss -

I just finished a post talking about a forum on Delphi where we've gathered to make a more unified move away from eBay. A poll was taken, and then narrowed down. The results are:

1. OLA (onlineauction.com) was the strong leader, their customer support is outstanding.

2. iOffer.com and Overstock.com tied for second place.

3. Etsy.com came in third, but Etsy is a site restricted to handmade items only. (I just wish every site looked as pretty and clutter free as Etsy!).

There is a lot of information and discussion on ALL the sites, even ones you have likely never heard of, at http://forums.delphiforums.com/boycottebay/start.

Feel free to drop in and look around. You do have to register with Delphi, but it's very quick and free.

Hope I've helped you!

Debbie

Regarding a very good auction site ,we have a very good and successful one in Australia now. www.oztion.com.au , no listing fees and a very low commission.
