I posted this request over on the listings board but I haven't gotten an answer yet. I really need help. wahm was kind enough to help with my html and I actually got it to save but when I got to create a listing from a saved master profile it doesn't come up on the list to choose from. I have been messing with the now for two days and have neglected listing to get this going. IF I can't get it to work, I'm going to have to back to TurboLister. I know how to use that. Auctiva seems to be a better (and cheaper) option that O very much would like to use. Can someone please help me find my saved template? Thank you so much, Eden

Gramma, Thanks for the help. I think I have it now. The only problem I seem to be having the I want a custom color for my description font color. Is there a way to get that in the description section? Thanks, Eden

You can put the HTML code for the font color that you want to use in the description. Just use the HTML view when you write your description. If you want to use that font color permanently in your description - you can add it to your template first.
What is the color code?

Gramma, Did I tell you that you're so sweet for helping me. I'm not stupid when it comes to html but I just can't seem to get Auctiva to work like I want. The color code I want to use is 607542. If you could get it in permanently, I would surely appreciate it. Thank you so much, Eden

Hello,

I think I have found a way for you to have this font color in every description listing.

Go to the PROFILES TAB scroll down until you see the ITEM DESCRIPTION BOX. Here you will see options, click on the " TEXT MODE " LINK

Then type in this html code

<font color=607542></font>

you can select other things in here, like a fixed template you want to use for every auction. Quantity of item (1)and more things....

then go to SAVE DETAIL PROFILE NAME AS ~ name it, (whatever reminds you of the color text code you used) and click save.

Then everytime you use this profile it will automatically give you the text and other things you saved in this profile in this color. You could also make the text larger or bold when you create the html coding...

for example

<FONT color=#607542><B><I></FONT></I></B>

would give you Pale Green text in Bold writing in italics script.

Hope this helps.

Carol
