Okay, I wrote up a very basic template in HTML to try out a thumbnail size-trick. The trick works except the editor changes the IMAGE#_URL tags *down* one number beginning with #13. I end up with two (2) IMAGE12_URL's, everything above that is out of place. #16 is gone. Here is what I put in:

[TITLE]<BR><BR><a href="[IMAGE1_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE2_URL]"></a><BR><BR>[DESCRIPTION]<BR><BR><a href="[IMAGE3_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE4_URL]"></a><a href="[IMAGE5_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE6_URL]"></a><BR><a href="[IMAGE7_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE8_URL]"></a><a href="[IMAGE9_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE10_URL]"></a><BR><a href="[IMAGE11_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE12_URL"></a><a href="[IMAGE13_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE14_URL]"><BR><a href="[IMAGE15_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE16_URL]"><BR><BR>[SHIP_PAY_DETAILS]<BR><BR>

And here is what gets saved:

[TITLE]<BR><BR><a href="[IMAGE1_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE2_URL]"></a><BR><BR>[DESCRIPTION]<BR><BR><a href="[IMAGE3_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE4_URL]"></a><a href="[IMAGE5_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE6_URL]"></a><BR><a href="[IMAGE7_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE8_URL]"></a><a href="[IMAGE9_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE10_URL]"></a><BR><a href="[IMAGE11_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE12_URL"></a><a href="[IMAGE12_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE13_URL]"><BR><a href="[IMAGE14_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE15_URL]"><BR><BR>[SHIP_PAY_DETAILS]<BR><BR>

Note the two tags for #12?

I've tried loading and saving it in every sequence I can think of. Have cleaned ny cache, too. I'm stumped. How about you?

Did you just place it in the text editor and save or did you go to preview first?

Duh I should learn to read - HTML editor. I remember Tom posting about custom coding needing to be saved in the text editor to keep this from happening. Do not click design view or it will add to it as well.

If memory serves (and sometimes it doesn't) member Magie Noire placed a step by step tutorial on the board. Search for her name and perhaps it will help.

Well, **blow me down!** I just got me timbers shivered! It appears some rotten sod must have whupped the closing bracket off'n me IMAGE#_12 tag. You can see it in one of my posts above. Now, a Cap'n would ever make such a error, would he? Har!

Alright ya'll...beat me with a limp noodle.

I couldn't help myself and I've been so good.

Beth (ironchick) had asked someone why they were posting over here when they are such a proponenet for the other service. When I saw that her posting had been altered/deleted and more was being said..insinuating in regards to we that have migrated services..

Oh Alright, I'm mouthy..I can't help it!
<shrug>
I'm working feverishly hard to get everything out and uploaded over here.

After two plus years Tomas finally notices me? Not my emails that went unanswered but a post to the board? C'mon! And now he is out and out asking me questions. <shrug> I don't have time for him now like he didn't have time to acknowledge my emails or me for 2 plus years.

You made me laugh Capt...ahhhhhhhhhhhh..some of my favorite memories is of another person that likened me to be a wench. How did you know? <smile>

What's the up on the editor?

Tah,
Donna

Merrygold mentioned she wouldn't be staying at SpareDollar any longer. She doesn't really sell anymore and was just posting. She mentioned she would just 'read' the boards. The next day, I went to 'read' the boards and you can no longer 'read' the AHL or eBay Roundtable without being signed in. I imagine he has also taken away the ability to 'read' the boards from trial members as well. After all of those questions Merrygold answered on Tomas' behalf, he takes her ability to read the very boards she 'worked' on for free? Merrygold was the first person I met at SpareDollar and proably the nicest. Tomas stepped way, way over the line on this one. It was very wrong to do that to her. It shows just how much of his business was / is based on the ability to post in the forums. $4.95 was worth it for some but $8.95?

The best assessment of a person is how they handle and react to stress, pressure and the weight of the world on their shoulders. Tomas -- has shown himself. I have no further comment I on what I see.

If anyone has Merrygold's email addy, please tell her to come here and join us.

Thank you. Smile
