hello- has anyone ever had issues with the spacing of lines in Item Description?? In my preview, it looks like my items are spaced out differently than in the listing creator. any help is appreciated.

There are several ways folks will create descriptions in the HTML listing editor. Some of the spacing issues I've seen posted on the boards here are related to using MSword (or other) text tools for first creating text before using a 'cut-and-paste' operation with the listing editor. I've not had many problems myself because I don't use the 'cut-and-past' approach. There is apparently a specific 'button' on the editor for pasting-in text previously copied from MSword. It's just a guess...but If you are using this approach, that may be part of your problem. Perhaps someone else can offer more than I can on this.

That is exactly what i am doing. i do not know html. you suggenst typing directly into description... i will try that. thanks!

There are quirks with some of Auctiva's templates, I've only had trouble with 2 of them. Since I don't know HTML, I just avoid those particular templates. If you know HTML, it can be fixed. There are tons of folks on here that can probably help you. Good Luck!

I have Windows XP and the 2007 version of Word and copy and paste all the time from Word and NEVER have a problem. Are you using Vista or an earlier version of Word? If so, that may be your problem.
