Forgive me if this has been discuused already. The new "96x96" thumbnails are actuall 96 wide (including border, if any) and the height is based on the aspect ratio (width vs. height) of the original, is that correct?

Hopefully so, as I would prefer that to something that actually altered (read distorted) the aspect ratio. That's perfect for my usage, although I graciously bow to the opinion of the majority. When they agree with me.

Am I correct in guessing that the new thumbnail template tags provide for a quicker listing than my old <a href="[IMAGE1_URL]"><img src="[IMAGE1_URL]" width=96 border=0></a> coding?
