I made an error in choosing horizontal with 4 pics. Is there anyway to change template once you've posted the ad to Ebay other than end early and post again?

Not without manually changing the code around. Unless it really intereferes with the listing - I don't know if I would end and relist.

Couldn't you just go into ebay and revise adding a <br> after each pic?
