when i try to put the template in my description i want the black back ground with my text on it, but my text shows up in white boxes, how do i keep the black background one solid piece??

It almost sounds like you clicked on the 'background color' box..it's next to the text color when you're doing your description...hover your mouse over those 2 little color palettes and you'll see which one is which. If that IS the case, try highlighting those white areas and then click on the background color palette, that should get rid of it....That's the only thing I can think of that might be causing that.
