If someone could give me a couple quick answers. I would really really appreciate it. Can I copy and paste the HTML off the practice board links you all are puttin out there as shared templates? If I copy and paste it into a new custom auctiva template and shift around where the description etc goes... is there anything else I need to do to make them functional? Will my master profile plug in all the correct info? I read somewhere that someone said you have to put in your user id etc. or it won't work? Thanks for any help!!

You should be okay to copy and paste. You will just have to put in your own URL to your auctions, feedback, etc. and copy the images to your own host on some of the templates. The ones that I have supplied are hosted to my photobucket account, so you would have to host them yourself and replace my url with yours.

My question is how do I do that. Where does the url get pasted? Where do I find my url? I assume it automatically shows up in standard templates... right?

This one here:

http://www.practiceboard.com/?2551903

See at the bottom of the template where it says:

E-Mail Me | My Other Auctions | Feedback | About Me

You need to make those links point to YOUR stuff. Find the HTML that looks like this near the bottom:

<center><b><a href="YOUR EMAIL ADDY"><font
color="#96333A">E-Mail Me</a> |
<a
href="http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&include=0&userid=YOUR EBAY USERID&sort=3&rows=25&since=-1&rd=1">
<font color="#96333A">My Other Auctions </a>|
<a
href="http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=YOUR EBAY USERID"><font color="#96333A">Feedback</a> |
<a
href="http://members.ebay.com/ws2/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=YOUR EBAY USERID"><font color="#96333A">About Me </a></b></center>

When you find it replace EBAY USERID with your ebay ID and your done with that part.

You should also save the graphics used in the template to your own account. If I were to delet them then your auction comes up with a template with no graphics.

For example this:

http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/0/0/6/3/4/4/webimg/2394657_o.jpg

Would need to be saved to your image space and then you need to put your URL for the image in there.

I know it sounds like a lot but once you do it a few times it really is easy Wink

I honestly suggest anyone who is new at this to just use the templates Auctiva provides until you get the hang of it.
