Hi Tom,

I want to play around with this custom template I designed. ( I have this saved in my docs)

I just spent 2 hrs getting it right in design/view and when I tried to save it, it all went poof ? and gave me the error message that I can only have 1 description tag ?? this is my basic shipping template, but I want to add more information into it and clean it up abit.

(I have just posted this promlem in the cust template community site)

Anyway, I keep looking at my template and I have NO description tags in it, or do I and I don't realize it ?

Can you do me a favor and take a peek at it. I am trying to add extra information into it.
here it is: http://www.practiceboard.com/?2542520

Thanks a bunch.

I loaded into notepad & did Edit, Find and it didn't find the description tag. Also, just remember, only one description tag allowed. I assume you need it at the top of your code below the table tag.

Hi,

I was having the same problems. My solution was to get the template exactly how I wanted it in photubucket then I copied and pasted it in. Works like a charm. Hope this helps Smile

This is correct. A custom template requires a Description tag otherwise it won't know where to put your auction description when it applies the template as you are posting to eBay Smile Add this tag and you should be able to save.

Cool

Thank you so much. I didn't know that, about the description tag. This template was just half a template.. if you know what I mean. I am going to incorporate it into a full template.

so I will not save it, but just build it into my new template and save it that way.

Love the people and customer support here. Thanks a million for replying. Smile
