I've updated to 4.00 and am now no longer able to use the attributes tab when composing my auctions. Has that option been done away with? With the older version, there was a period of time when I was unable to access the attributes tab and my sales suffered for it. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Try the Tools-> Update Categories from the menu bar at the top of the auctive program. Mine seem to be present, although they do not always match up perfectly with eBay's

Thanks, Earl for the advice. I've tried that and it says that there are no new attribute files at this time. Auctiva told me they had the latest lists of attributes from Ebay so their hands were tied in that aspect. so, for now, what I do is . . . list my auctions with Auctiva without attributes. Then revise each and every one through Ebay to add the attributes (Ebay calls them item specifics). Extra work but what can I do? I really like Auctiva and their easy-to-use format of "fill in the blanks" auction-making. thanks again, Earl, serenity1999

*I* don't even HAVE attributes - the tab/page is totally blank. So i just go in and revise every single auction I list.

Wwow, Jan. I know how frustrating that can be! Have you tried updating attributes from the "tools" option? It's helped me a few times in the past. I've now decided I'll check for those updates every couple days. . . . I also contacted Ebay about it and they say they've sent out all the latest updates to all those companies like Auctiva. They say Auctiva needs to contact them. Auctiva says they have all the recent updates that Ebay will give them. So basically both companies say "it's not us, it's them." But (coincidence or not?) after I contacted Ebay and complained, I checked for attributes updates and there WERE some! And there hadn't been any that morning! (It took about 1 minute to download but of course, the attributes I was missing were not there) So, I figure it can't hurt for me to check every time I remember. . . . So good luck to you.
