Lost store categories after the update. Is this a common problem with the new version?

Update your store categories: Tools->Update Categories..., then check eBay Stores Custom Categories and click the Update button

This didn't fix it for me - none of my store categories appear at all...The only options Auctiva Poster V4.05 allows now is "other" or "No Storefront Category". My tools menu isn't like the one you mentioned above. This is how mine appears:

Tools ->Update Program->Categories (Amazon / eBay / Yahoo)

I updated the eBay option but it doesn't fix my store categories. Please help.

Make sure you close all open auctions before you update your custom store categories.

The Tools ->Update Program->Categories menu item you mentioned will not download your custom store categories. You must use the menu item Tools->Update Categories... as mentioned before.

Also, since sellers can have different custom store categories associated with different eBay accounts, the custom store categories drop-lists will not be populated with your categories untill you enter your eBay username.

I tried your suggestions (not solutions) too many times. I give up! I will switch to competitors' program for future listings until you understand and find a solution to my problem. You will find a very unsatisfied client visiting you in Las Vegas.

I'm sorry ilta, when you didn't reply to this post right away, I thought my suggestion had resolved this issue for you. I didn't know you had also filed a support case that was being handled by another support person. I will take over your support case and continue this investigation if you're still interested in working with us.
