Open Auctive, using 4.01. It tells me there is an update available today. Click yes. Does complete download same as usual. Tells me again there is an update available, and loop loop loop. Have shut Auctive down and reopened after an update and it still wants to update.
????? I am using service pack 1 and need to upgrade to XP 2, just cringing because each time I upgrade it takes too much time to go close the doors that they think should be open.

It is not a WINDOWS XP thing, as I am on Win 98 and it does the same looping thing. Just update the one time and then say no the second time thru. I successfully updated all the categories also. remember that eBay is changing again too.
Listing goes fine when this technique was used

Hello Earl.... I did what you suggested. I also updated the categories. Then I closed down Auctiva. However,when I re-opened it, that same pop-up appeared..asking me to update. You're right..it does not interfere with listing. It's just a glitch that hopefully Auctiva is aware of...and fix, before it could possibly interfere with our listings. Did that pop-up come back after you re-opened Auctiva? Rose

Hi Tom, The pop-up version that is downloading, is 1.54. When you try to Abort the download it causes havoc on the computer...etc.. I had to shut down. If I uninstall Auctiva, could I loose my information? Thanks, Rose
