This is very bad for business, not a picture in site. I can't even manage my images on the Auctiva site - red crosses there too. Don't know how long it's been like this. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how long it's likely to be like this?

Have just noticed, I seem to be signed in as Old Lady - that is not me! How can that happen? I've signed out and tried again, but the system seems to have decided I need a personality swap. Apologies to the real Old Lady - do you live in Southampton too?

It has been like this for 6 days now! Up and down mostly down. I wish I could tell you what is going on or when it will be fixed but Auctiva has not answered any of my support claims since yesterday morning. Mad

Hi Old Lady & dm2756,
Yep...pic's down again.

Auctiva, (Ed) responded below to:
"MY PICTURES ALL NOT BEING SEEN"
They're aware we need a solution asap.

I do wish it was a quick fix..but sadly sounds like it's quite a big problem.

Big problem all right..... Auctiva better get on the ball and purchase whatever it is they need to get their paying clients back in business. I have sought out other services to keep my presence known on the web. I am thoroughly disgusted. I have been hanging in there long enough.... when status reports are non-existent... well, why should I care when Auctiva doesn't. I will need to be won over big time to put all my eggs in the Auctiva basket again... whoever suggested using photobucket.. thank you! It is quick and easy! And I have pictures in my listings!

One thing I do for every auction, is upload ONE pic on my domain. That way, if Auctiva pic's are down, at least one picture is showing. (not all eggs in one basket..so to speak.)
I know it's VERY frustrating when our pic's are down but I honestly believe Auctiva doesn't like it any better than we do.

If only Auctiva would give updates, I would just NOT list anything until they get pictures back up. Frustrating to have NO communication from Auctiva. I feel I've lost a lot of money by unknowingly continuing to list with NO pictures in my listings... Confused

Yes, I remember a time when anytime I wanted an answer, support had already posted an answer. Lately it seems like posts from support have been few and far between.

To be fair, everytime I have sent in a support case, I have been answered, and in a timely fashion...including last night, when I sent one in for this same problem.

When there are server problems (like this one), it does take a little longer - they are simply more interested in trying to fix the problem, than post here...

Hopefully, they won't have to replace the servers for this one.

Also - I have lost tons of sales this past week due to this problem - we are all in the same boat with that one!

Rejoice was smart - setting up at least one pic with eBay all this time.

I didn't do it, but with the few auctions I post daily, I'm doing the same thing - but I'll be damned if I change 900+ store items!!

Hi there, Is this just a coincidence? eBay is having a free picture hosting / picture manager trial March 29 & 30 sign up for a free two week period. Still getting the dreaded red x here. It's been a long time. Hope someone knows something and will let us know when to expect consistent service we can count on for selling. You just can't sell without the images.

The scary part for me is that I pulled out of another company, after being with them five years, last fall, over the high prices...and I can tell you they were considerably higher. It took me over two months to transfer all of my listings to Auctiva and I did not have any where near 700 listings at that time...this would be a nightmare to pull out...

I am sticking it out with my best wishes to them to solve this problem...

Here it is the 29th of March on the East Coast and still no pictures. It would be very good for Auctiva to give us some update on " WHEN " ???

Then offer some sort of free time for the aggravation.

communication from a possible buyer

Question about your item

Marketplace Safety Tip

Always remember to complete your transaction on eBay - it's the safer way to trade.

Is this message an offer to buy your item directly through email without winning the item on eBay? If so, please help make the eBay marketplace safer by reporting it to us. These "off-eBay" transactions may be unsafe and are against eBay policy. Learn more about selling with confidence.

Is the buyer asking you to send the balance of their overpayment via Western Union or MoneyGram?
If so, this may be a fraudulent transaction and you should report it to eBay. Learn more about receiving payments.

If this email is inappropriate or in any way violates eBay policy, please help protect other eBay community members by reporting it to us immediately.

I've been fielding requests for pics all week myself. Newbies here are discovering that "customer service" is not in Auctiva's lexicon. Auctiva has a mix of services and prices that suit me better than any of the other third party service providers and its wildly frustrating when they fail as they have in the last week.

Sent this to support this am, hope to receive an answer.
Hello agaim! It's been a long time and still no images or extemely sporadic at best. Please let me know if you think this is going to be a very long term problem to fix. I am trying to wait it out, but I noticed on the boards that people are using other hosts for their images. I am beginning to think that Auctiva may actually want their customers to go somewhere else. Are you going out of business? There have been no reports or explanations? I know this is not the fault of the people who have to answer the Auctiva Customers, this problem must be coming from the top, there is no other explanation for such insensitive service. Hope something will be fixed or a good explanation and a plan for how this will be adjusted to the paying customers and supporters of Auctiva. Thank you.

No pictures - Paying for service not getting. Does anyone know how to add a picture to an ebay listing that already has bids on it?

I just spent the morning uploading pictures to comcast and then rewriting the html is all of my auctions. I just left the store items. When is this going to be resolved? I need to put more items on and I can't rewrite the html in everything. Please give us an answer, even if its not an answer we want to hear. We need to know what is happening with the pictures.

If the item already has bids on it, I just added this to it
<img src="https://home.comcast.net/~sydney2001/hammond_gas.JPG"> to get a picture on it. You need to figure out how you can use your hosting space to do the same.

Wholesaledasy4u - you can 'add to the description', as long as the item is not closing within 12 hours.

Just insert the basic picture posting html.

UPLOAD YOUR IMAGES INTO VENDIO UNTIL AUCTIVA GETS UP AND RUNNING SO YOU DON'T GO OUT OF BUSINESS. IT IS A LONG SLOW PROCESS BUT IT WILL WORK FOR US WHO HAVE 1,000S OF PICTURES IN AUCTIVA.

We all need to file support cases. I didn't realize thwe pictures weren't showing up. I also cannot access the image tab at Auctiva.com or upload to it. This is bad news.
