I am considering using Auctiva Poster to upload tons of DVDs. I like the feature of uploading 10 items per batch on Turbo Lister, that way I can zap 10 DVDs using my USB barcode scanner and move to the next batch very quickly. Does Auctiva Poster have that feature? I know it is not a feature on Mr. Poster.
Also I would consider using Poster if it also gave me different profile options like on the free web based Auctiva tool that I have used in the past. I like the fact I can build Master profiles from detail, shipping and checkout profiles easily on Auctiva.com...does Auctiva Poster have this flexiblity?
Where in turbo lister can you use a barcode scanner for Dvds? I always type in the Upc. This would really make life easier for me as well. Also have you tried this in turbo lister?
Highlight your inventory menu and use the drop down menu on the "New" tab, and then select "Multiple Items with Pre Filled Information". It will then let you select a catogory..Books, DVDs, CDs. ETC...then your screen will give you 10 sku slots to scan in your inventory...you do it in blocks of 10 skus each and then save the items in an inventory folder that you create.
I'm hoping Auctiva Poster has this option, I also like the profile folders on Auctiva.com and how they work. I wished their was program that brought all of that together...i guess im just asking for too much.
Yeah thats where I usually go and fill them in by hand. I don't have a barcode scanner but if this is faster then I will order one. How does the scanner work? Is there something special you have to do to get it to work with TL?
Simple...all you need is a USB barcode scanner....type those key words in eBay and you'll have a ton of options. Try to stay away from the cheap $20 models, they tend to be too cheap and take forever to read the barcode. Don't be afraid to spend a little bit more on these...it's worth it if you do alot of DVDs, CD' or books.
