The photo hosting issue is a problem and like everyone else I hope it will be solved soon. I also hope Auctiva is able to survive this crisis and continue to be able to offer the BEST auction software to be found. All my eBay images for the last 6+ years are stored on an external hard-drive plus on CD. There is no reason to rely solely on Auctiva for archiving your photos. It is quite easy to put up new Auctiva listings with photos, by either using eBay's photo service or another photo hosting service, until Activa gets theirs back up and running. I'm using Photobucket and it only takes about an extra 90 seconds to upload my JPEG files to Photobucket, and add the URL to the bottom of my description (just copy and paste multiple URLs in one easy step). So one can piss and moan, threaten to leave, wish Auctiva an untimely death, or get on with business the best we can and help ourselves. The sellers that are hard hit are those that have large numbers of listings and eBay store items already on-line and that also rely on relisting. mrebee

HI ALL, This is a questions for MREBEE!!! I SEE THAT YOU TOO ARE USING PHOTOBUCKET. DO YOU KNOW HOW TO CONFIGURE YOUR FTP SETTINGS IN AUCTIVA SO YOU CAN USE PHOTOBUCKET TO HOST YOUR PICTURES???? I'VE TRIED ALL NIGHT TO NO AVAIL. I KNOW HOW TO PULL UP EACH EBAY AUCTION AND REVISE BY POSTING URL FROM PHOTOBUCKET. JUST WANTED TO CHANGE FTP SETTINGS IN AUCTIVA AND HOST MY PICTURES THRU PHOTOBUCKET TILL AUCTIVA GETS UP AND RUNNING. BUT NOW EVERYTIME I TRY TO POST AN AUCTION USING OPTION #2 I GET THIS ERROR MESSAGE: "Your login attempt failed, the ftp server reports the username and password combination you entered in your ftp settings appear to be wrong, please confirm and try again". I'm using option #2, why would there be a problem with my ftp settings?? TIRED, CONFUSED, AND FRUSTRATED like everyone else!!!! Any help is appreciated! Either here or email me direct: LHARRIS9@CFL.RR.COM
THANKS, DIANA

You folks should cool your jets before you end up losing big bucks to hidden fees and/or fewer options if you use any other service. Follow this link to view all auction management software’s available on the market and see for yourself; how you will PAY, PAY, PAY FOR EXTRAS AND MORE EXTRAS: www.auctionbytes.com/cab/pages/amsin the pass 4 days I have sampled 5 different services and NONE stack up to AUCTIVA, I must say we are getting our money's worth, no other service offers multi user-ID that is hassle free and they all have many extras that are included in AUCTIVA at no extra charge come on folks we are all hurting now but, better now then later with extra fees and not to mention the dreaded learning process to learn a new software product that we won’t be happy with, so I decided I rather stick around till they fix this problem. I now realize after all these years of complaining about this and that, AUCTIVA by far is the BEST….. I’AM NOT LEAVING EVER!!!! WE’LL GET OVER THIS. Rob & Elena djrecordexpress

Diana, I replied in the other thread but I see you're using option #2. You'll need to use #3 for personal hosting.
