Finally I am forced to used attributes. So far I have just left them blank. But there are no more catagories for vinyl records beyond "Records." No more jazz catagory or anything. So I using 3.99c I downloaded the latest attributes. (Evidently I have them all because the second time I tried its said no new ones were available.) But when I get to the sub-genre section of the attribute "World Music" there is nothing there. On ebay they have the sub-genres "Celtic," "Arabic" and so one. But in Auction Poster these are absent. (I should mention that the sub-genres for other genres like "jazz" and "rock" are present.)

We have a hugh problem with listing Attributes for our Book auctions using 3.99c. Your template page requires a date (including month and day)of publication be entered - there is no option to leave the date blank. However, the book does not reveal the day of publication, and often does not reveal the month. So it is asking for information that is impossible to provide. If one goes directly to Ebay and enters an auction, without going through Auctiva, under "Sell Your Item: Choose a Listing Option" using the "List the Standard Way" option, a book can be listed with the Attribute's necessary sub-catagories and yet leave the publisher's date blank. If one does choose to enter a date, it only asks for the year, not the month and day. Please make this part of your Attributes fix so Auctiva can match up with ebay. Thanks
A. It seem all book categories have the MM/DD/YYYY format problem. It also does not exhibit "sticky" behavorior and exhibits the current date without being asked.
B. In the Music CDs and Books categories where eBay has switched to a combination of Category and Attributes to locate items, you also do not have any way to use the method eBay has to list via the UPC or ISBN number
C. Your attributes avaiable in many categories do not match the actual eBay ones.
These three items combined are very irritating and make it difficult for a full time eBayer to concentrate on actual productive work instead of workarounds in Vendor's Offline Listing Product.
